My GI doctor highly recommends Mirilax over all other laxatives, it's extremely effective. I cannot stand the overly sickly sweet orange flavor of other brands, this has basically zero taste. Its the perfect thing for travel, it does not set off any TSA airport checks. It is a good value for the money considering its a special use case product, and nice to know you're getting the exactly correct dose instead of having to guesstimate with a spoon.

Miralax mix-in pax, box of 24 with no stirrers cost $32.40 ($1.35/ct.). I usually use this product in a box of 10 pkts. with stirrers at a cost of $19.99 ($1.999/ct). Far cheaper to order more. I do not use the stirrers. Due to voice box paralysis I was unable to eat certain types of foods which cause stomach issues. Ended up in hospital with blocked bowel. When begin discharged from hospital I was instructed to use Miralax as instructed on the box. This product is so gentle but effective. Doesn't cause stomach discomfort. This is not a fast acting product. I usually take it at bedtime. For my system which is sensitive, it works in 6-8 hours. This is the best. Miralax does not change the taste or consistency of the liquid you put it in whether it is hot or cold. Follow directions on packet!

Perfect for travel.

The only stuff that keeps me regular. I buy the packets when I have a vacation coming up because they're convenient, but they're WAY more expensive than buying it by the bottle.

MiraLAX is a good product and works as it should. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. I'm supposed to use one a day, so that's about $40 per month.
