I recently picked up this quick-release plate and clamp mount because I’m a huge fan of the Neewer quick mounting system. After loving the convenience of my Neewer tripod, I wanted to extend that quick-mounting capability to other setups like my suction cup and video tripod mounts, which previously used a screw. This adapter has been a game-changer for me, allowing me to switch between mounts seamlessly.Compatibility and Ease of UseThe quick lock dual compatibility QR system really lives up to its name. It works flawlessly with my Arca Swiss clamps. Switching my camera between different setups literally takes a second, which is fantastic when I’m on the move or need to change shots quickly. The versatile four-side Arca Type QR plate is also a big plus—being able to slide the camera in from any direction saves so much time.Sturdy and SecureWhat impressed me most is how sturdy and secure this mount feels. Yes, it’s a bit on the bulky side, but that actually works in its favor. The bulkiness translates to a feeling of security that I don’t always get with slimmer mounts. I’ve used it while recording videos in my car, attaching it to a suction cup mount, and it stayed rock solid the entire time. The automatic locking mechanism adds an extra layer of safety, which I absolutely love. It’s not going to accidentally detach, and if you fully lock it, that camera isn’t going anywhere.A Minor Wish for ImprovementIf I had one small wish, it would be for a slightly more compact design. While I appreciate the sturdy feel, a more streamlined version would be even better for those times when I’m trying to keep my gear as light and portable as possible.ConclusionOverall, this mount has made my shooting process so much easier and quicker, and the peace of mind I get from its security features is worth the slight bulkiness. Love this! Allows me to turn my arca heads into quick snap-in mounts on the fly. I use this on M4/3 gear- for that it has been very stable and strong enough and I love it. I probably would not use this for my FF Nikon system with FF lenses of any size.It works very smoothly and has held up well; some little sign of wear but no degradation of function at all. As stated, locks up plenty tight with my M4/3 gear and monopods, tripods etc. This allows me to turn any of my half dozen to dozen tripods into a quick-connect without replacing all mounts. Depending on what I'm shooting I may take any one of these tripod/ monopods out, from little 10-12" to full size tripod or monopods. And hiking a lot, I'm constantly coming on and off a trippod/monopod as I move. So this is great - makes it so easy for that BUT still remain fully Arca compatible with all mounts. i can use for M4/3 which I mostly hike/ trek with, but then turn around and use traditional Arca with my other systems when I'm going "heavy." Very cool!!

The media could not be loaded. To be honest, I was not expecting the product to be of a premium quality. I do like the idea that it has a separate lock system and a release latch for the quick-release plate.Super light durable, but this is only for my gimbalIt's very easy to use, fits very well, and will come with some Rex keys, which you’re not going to really need when tightening down the quick release.As of June 12th, 2025I will keep you up-to-date in the next 14 days

It works well with the mount provided and the Ulanzi F38 base plates work with the mount BUT the Neewer plate DOES NOT fit the Ulanzi Falcam system.If you’re expecting interchangeability this is NOT the way to go. On its own it’s a good product tho. It aaah depends on your use case.

Solid metal construction. A confident, resounding locking "click" when my DSLR is placed placed into position on the tripod. Plus, no more fiddling around trying to line up the fiddly tripod connecting screw with camera threaded hole so no longer a risk of scratching bottom of my Nikon camera. I'm very pleased with this and wouldn't hesitate to purchase another if I needed to switch over to a second tripod.

These just plain work. They are solidly built. I like that the screw to anchor it to your camera not only has a slot to tighten it but a small fold down metal flap to tighten it. It fits multiple tripods and ball heads I have.

I wanted another Neewer plate, their knock off of the ubiquitous Peak Design, and saw this combination with the quick locking clamp, at a low price.It's clever, and it works. But it doesn't work well enough for my use. Sometimes the clamp closes firmly on the plate, but sometimes not. I found it necessary to test for firmness and then push the lever all the way into the lock position. By the time I've done this I might as well have used a conventional thumb screw type clamp. When this happens the camera will not fall out, but it will not hold its position so your photos will be compromised.I won't be using it.

Build quality is great! All solid metal. Love the quick release switch, parts lock very well. Easy to lock/unlock put/take off plates. Fits my Peak Design (arcaswiss) plate.
