Like most others who bought this it was to install a peephole in a metal door. It worked perfectly and the job was done in under five minutes. I used the M34 Hole Saw Arbor, 3/8-Inch Boxed, that Fits AV09-AV24 and it worked fit perfectly with the hole saw. My only regret was not doing the job sooner.

Peep hole perfection
After trying to find a 9/16th hole saw at every local hardware store, I turned to the internet. I purchased this as well as the 3/8" arbor and it worked like a charm.I needed to install a peep hole into my metal door and this did exactly what I needed.

Very poor tolerance
I purchase this saw to cut an 11/16 hole. I measured the saw with a caliper and it is certainly a full 11/16 inches but it does not center around the arbor. Not even close. Seems like the blade just isn't square in the base. Though I didn't try, because I wanted to return this piece of crap, I'm quite certain it would have cut a hole at least 3/4. I could have purchase a better 3/4 saw locally if that's what I wanted. If you are going to market tolerances down to 1/16 of an inch you really should make sure the saw centers on the arbor.

There are better ones from this manufacturer
For a bi-metal hole saw this saw isn't bad. The teeth do not have carbide edges and will wear out quickly to you saw a lot of holes during work. MK Morse does make a hole saw that has carbide teeth. The color of the hole saw is flat gray. Sort but I don't have a part number on hand.

The hole saw was as advertised. Used it to drill a hole in 1inch metal conduit to fit a 1/2 inch conduit for brazing, was a little small, but grinded a little for a good fit. Easier than shaping the 1/2 inch to fit the contour of the 1 inch conduit.

Very well-made, sharp!
Used this to cut a hole in a steel exterior door for an oversized peep-hole. Extremely sharp, cut like a hot knife through butter. If you already have a hole-saw or two that is over 1", and have the type of mandrel with two pins (that lock into the saw and prevent over-torquing of the threads) you will need to purchase a smaller mandrel to use this saw - the threads are different and there are no pins to lock into the saw. Since I needed one on the day of the project, I purchased at a local hardware store, but these are available on Amazon (example: DEWALT DW1800 1/4-Inch Mandrel (9/16-Inch to 1-3/16-Inch )).

Perfect for the job!!
I bought this hole saw to install a peep hole in my front door, and this hole saw in combination with the M34 arbor made the job incredibly easy. I had the peep hole installed in five minutes. I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase
