That’s a failed Simpsons reference, though this combination is definitely better than nuts and gum! My kitties love freeze dried meat. I consider it the perfect treat for them as they are carnivores. At first, they were not sure whether to eat everything or roll around on the catnip. Eventually they got the picture and are in love! I also like how the pieces break up easily because I have persians and they have troubles eating things that are too large.

My cats are not interest in this catnip and the pieces of chicken are smaller, which is a better size for cats; however, it makes it harder to separate from the nip and tends to get broken into slivers during shipping.

For cats who really like catnip and I'm talking about the ones who love to eat it too not just make a mess of it everywhere then this would be great to get for your cat! But the ratio of catnip to the freeze dried chicken bites is like 55% catnip & 45% freeze dried chicken. So for me, I was getting it more for the chicken and was assuming the catnip was more 15-20% ratio vs. The chicken since my cat has been absolutely IN LOVE WITH THE PUREBITES FREEZE DRIED CHICKEN BREAST. So if you have a cat like me that doesn't the catnip then I would not recommend the catnip but would absolutely recommend the freeze dried chicken bites by themself. And of course any other flavors your cat may like as well! Very good healthy popular treats with all cats

Our feline family has tried all the varieties of PureBites snacks. By far chicken is the favorite of this 5 cat family so it seemed a no-brainer that we should try the chicken and catnip variety. Until the bag arrived.Our delivery was a bag of...chicken dust and catnip. The same chicken pieces we’ve gotten in the other PureBites chicken varieties (bigger for dogs & smaller for cats) seemed to have mostly been attacked by someone with a mortar & pestle, then they added low quality (Schwag) catnip or catmint. The ratio of chicken to catnip was 1:1, so when the cats tried to lick up the chicken dust the catnip would make them sneeze & blow the pile everywhere. It would have been funny if it wasn’t so disappointing.If your intent is to have catnip and dehydrated chicken - do yourself a favor & buy them separate!!PROS:* cat sneezes are cute and funny to watch.* the chicken is really small & easy to lick up.CONS:* it makes cats sneeze.* the chicken dust (& salmonella) gets all over.* low quality “greens”.* cats loose interest fast.

My cat used to love these treats. Unfortunately, they have been sent via envelopes rather than in a box. Item ends up coming in as crushed litttle pieces of treats. Lots of catnip floating in bottom of bag. I started ordering multiple packages, and some come in a box, others have been 3 packages in the manilla bag. Haven't found a way to get my cat to eat the little flakes that the treats are reduced to.

Our cat loves the freeze dried treats. The chicken/catnip is 1 of his favorites. He puts his paw in the bag to pull his portion out. The catnip can be messy. I sprinkle it in his food for extra flavor. He isn't generally a finicky cat. Salmon&tuna are favorites. He'll eat the shrimp if there's nothing else. If you aren't sure of what flavor your cat prefers start with the smallest bag. The catnip hasn't given Otis the zoomies.
