This helmet fits well. The lighting system is bright and attention-grabbing. The retractable visor works well. The turn signals are a good size and shuld be visible to alert drivers. The turn signal switch mounts two different ways on the handlebars.Solid made item. Only drawback is the magnetic clip closure on the chin strap. It is difficult to open because of the position of the release. The magnet is strong and holds well, however, taking the helmet off would be easier with a design tweak of the clip. Overall, a fantastic buy. For the price, it is a good buy.

Everything works as it should. Looking great and light weight but battery only last for two hours only when all leds are on at Steady mode instead of 10 hours as described on it owner’s manual.A phone app was hard to connect to the helmet during pairing or afterwards. Even the helmet was on and the app said “Not connected” have to press n hold power button for 2s - 3sThey should be automatically linked when the helmet turns on.There should at least two buttons for ease of use. One dedicated for power and pairing Bluetooth and another should be for toggling LED modes. Hopefully manufacturers can improve these important factors in near future. For now these are “Most frequently returned items” according to Amazon.I’m keeping this because I love its styles, color schemes and LEDs turn signals Left and Right. Don’t use much app so I’m ok; however when spending $200 for an helmet, everything should be working WELL and consistently.

Loving this helmet. Connects with Lumos lights very easy. Adjusts easily. Nice comfortable fit. Lightweight. Looks better in person.

I wrote a not so nice review of Lumos from an Ebike Ultra Helmet I bought from Amazon during Prime Days. It said it was the last one and I should have known better! Everytime I have bought a last one it turned out to be a broken return, something wrong, missing pieces, etc, etc. It was my one chance to get it on sale so I said let me get it. Sure enough, there was a bunch wrong and I could not believe that a $229 bicycle helmet could have left the factory with this much wrong so it had to have been used and misused and once again Amazon sent it out as new. I called Amazon to exchange it and they said it could only be returned no exchange. I sent Lumos an email but got no response. In due fairness it was over the weekend but I was so mad! I brought it back to Whole Foods for a return and wrote some not so nice reviews. Monday I got a response from Kevin at Lumos. I told him what happened and wanted nothing to do with Lumos. He offered to take care of the situation by offering the same price plus an additional discount and extended warranty. I told him to let me think about it. So, I put my trust in him and I just received it and it is perfect! He even included a Firefly, but now I need to spend more money to buy some more. LOL! Lumos does really care about their customers and products they produce. Their technology is cutting edge. I was an LD and worked for the company that invented the automated moving lights you see at concerts, tv, etc, and this reminds me of that cutting edge lighting technology. I can honestly now say buy Lumos, but buy directly from them.

This is my third Lumos helmet. They all still work very well, but I keep wanting to upgrade. This I bought for the face shield and higher e-bike safety.Be seen. I use the lights day and night and love them. I regularly have bikers and non-bikers compliment me on this helmet, drivers love that they can see a biker better. I commute every weekday with this helmet.My only wish is that they make the face shield the face shield used UV protective polycarbonate with photochromic properties (so they become sunglasses in the sun)! Then this would be perfection.
