Powerful and efficient
I have a 1000 gallon + koi pond in my backyard here in southern Oregon. I purchased the property in December of 2024, through the rainy season the debris piled up in it. This spring I cleaned it out and found about 3 inches of muck in the bottom. The water was really cloudy and dark brown/green from the lack of maintenance. It had a small fountain with a small filter, but it obviously wasn’t doing much good. I purchased this unit because it has a 1300 gph. rating with a diverter for a fountain and a hose port. After 2 cleanings in 3 days I can already tell that it’s working. The water is getting a lot clearer and cleaner. I can see the rocks & the bottom. With another 2 or 3 cleanings, I believe that the pond is going to look great. The fountain is beautiful, and I hose adapter is funneling enough water to operate a waterfall feature as well. My 17 Koi fish are really happy, I can see them a lot more now. Great investment, & I’d buy another one if it quits in 6 months- ✌🏼

So easy to install
I just built a huge pond16'x8' and then goes from foot and half to 3.5'. I got 2 of these filters. It's only been like 4rhs and so far so freaking good, took me maybe 30minutes from getting box to turning on water. There working so good. Comes with 2 different fountains so I used one on each filter and they shoot up a good 2'. Tomorrow I'll upload photos after 24hours

Turtle pump
Works well for the pond I have in my yard. It is fairly simple to clean and works really well for the size.

Awesome pump...but UVC Lamp is Bad for Fish.
Short Review: I recommend this filter. It is extremely good at filtering waste and clarifying water. It's very easy to install and is a decent price for what it does. However if this filter is going in water that has fish in it I strongly recommend removing the uvc bulb before putting the pump in the water as it will kill beneficial bacteria as well. The fish need the good bacteria.Long Review: I got this filter to deal with an ammonia spike I noticed in my 150 gallon pond. It was bad, about 1ppm. By the grace of God the guppies and danios were still in there breeding up a storm. Just because they can endure it doesn't mean they should. Not long after doing the water test one of my chickens showed up for a drink and to snack on some salvia. To my horror she took a huge dump in the pond. That explains the ammonia despite all the plants growing in there. Surely the local wildlife has been doing the same. I bit the bullet and ordered this. No amount of plants can counter that kind of abuse on such a small pond.It only took this pump about a day to make the water crystal clear. But a word that kept popping up in the instructions began to haunt me. The word was "sterilize." I loved how clear it made the water. However I was concerned as to how it would affect the beneficial bacteria.I let the pump run for a week then checked the water again. I used an API Master Test Kit. The ammonia had gone down a bit. It was 0.5 ppm. Then I checked the nitrite and it was terrible. I had never, ever seen nitrites so bad in any of my water gardens. That test tube looked like it had grape Kool Aid in it!After I got done freaking out I proceeded to do a water change big enough to water nearly my entire garden and removed the filter. I pulled the uvc lamp out of the filter and removed the uvc bulb. If you plan on doing this you must make sure the inside of the glass casing where the bulb is kept stays dry and is securely fastened to the filter. Obviously if it gets wet it will short out your pump and can electrify the water. Unfortunately the uvc lamp does not have an on off switch so this was my only option if I still intended on using this pump without slowing suffocating my fish to death. Nitrite is very toxic to fish and it is the beneficial bacteria that converts it into nitrate. Nitrate is much safer for fish in moderation, especially if plants are present. The bacteria can't convert anything if they're killed by uvc. After the changes I dosed it with Seachem Stability to replenish the bacteria colony. I let the pump run for another week without the bulb and tested the water again. Much better. The ammonia was down to 0.25 and the nitrites were 0. I let it run another week and both the ammonia and nitrite were eliminated and the nitrate was 40ppm. It's pretty well balanced now. Now all there is to do is make sure nitrate stays under control. This pump does exactly what it advertised and it does it a bit too well in my opinion. For that I won't knock off stars. I'll chalk up my trauma to my ignorance. So far nightly raccoon visitors haven't broken it so it's sturdy enough. The fountain looks nice. I like that it has different heads you can switch on. Ultimately I like this because of how quickly it clears up the water and it helped me solve my ammonia problem. I just wish there was easier way to turn off the uvc if using this for fish.

So far…worth EVERY penny!
The media could not be loaded. Wow I actually have koi?I bought this because my homemade filter took a dump and wow is all I can say!!!Installed in less than 10 minutes after reading manual (not much there to see folks) I have a water fall so I decided to go with the bell instead of the spray fountain I thot that would be nice. Even with a large bell atop the water coming from the waterfall is robust to say the least. Very nice. After 24 hours I could actually see the entire pond 800-1000 gallons and every rock in it and needless to say my koi. I did clean the filters after the initial 24 hour period and it is very easy to remove from the pond and clean. It has great water turn over and nice filters. We will see how long the uv bulb lasts and how easy of at all possible that is to change out.So far this is a nice addition to my pond and a much better motor and props than my previous filter which struggled to get the pond clear after the long winter. It’s nice to be able to see my fish at night. And instead of having to rebuild my own box to accommodate a new larger filter I decided to give this a go.Ok so about ten days two weeks out and I added another follow up photo to show the clarity after 10 days... I am very pleased so far.

Pump and filter work great with no signs of diminishing flow in three weeks
I replaced my 25 year old pump and filter with this Vivohome unit about 3 weeks ago and, so far, it has been working great. The volume of water pumped hasn't dropped since the first day indicating that the filtration is well designed. Even though I have lots of plants and fish, the pond went from murky to crystal clear in a few days and the waterfall is flowing vigorously. I don't use the fountain. The main reason I purchased this was for ease of cleaning but at this rate, cleaning day may not come very soon. The old system needed to be cleaned about once per month and slowed to a trickle by week 3. If this Vivohome pump and filter cuts my frequency of cleaning in half, it will pay for itself in a year.

Pump clogs every couple days! Bad
Worst pond pump I’ve owned and I’ve had a few. This one for whatever reason you have to clean every couple days to keep it pumping. Who wants to clean a pond pump every 3days? I’d buy another brand all together these things are crap! Vivosun should be ashamed of this product! Just awful
