It works!
I have a 1999 Mercury Tracer. Shift solenoids went out and trans would not move vehicle. Dropped the pan and there was an incredible amount of sludge in pan and filter. As directions, online stated, I used the transmission cleaner. Results: Transmission is shifting so much better than when I bought this vehicle. No codes lighting up on the OBD scanner.

Saved My Bacon π₯. I'm Not Kidding. Complete Game Changer πͺ
As with anything. Owning a 2013 F150 3.5L Ecoboost has been a blessing π. However after 11 years of hard use, the vehicle would rumble i.e. vibrate π³ coincidently right where the transmission and torque converter is located. It started off slow, with rumbles here and there, then became even more noticeable and deafening. A remanufactured torque converter is around $250 then labor is $700 - $900 and automatic transmission fluid is another $200 - $400. So yeah not cheap in any sense of the manner. I originally purchased this ATF cleaner for a coworker of mine and for my parent's 2018 Toyota Highlander 3.5L XLE. Needless to say, the Highlander is running better than ever, and the gunk that was trapped in the crevices of the transmission gears βοΈ, transmission cooler condenser and etcetera was unreal. Yes guys and gals, even draining, filter change and refill of ATF isn't an automatic fix for future rumbling sensations. That gunk/soot/magnetized metal shavings that remains lodged in the transmission itself is what causes issues down the road. And let me tell you my pickup truck was no exception. I drained a liter or two of ATF from the transmission oil pan and filled it with this cleaner. Turned on the vehicle, felt the rumbling harder than ever, and sat in the driver seat for forty minutes straight. I kid you not. At the forty minute mark, which coincidently is when the transmission is burning hot π₯. I felt a rumble/kick-start so hard π³ I started panicking then there was silence π and no more rumbling ever again. I kept the vehicle running for another forty minutes to really let the cleaner do it's thing. When it was time to drain the ATF. Something black and thick and sludgy about the size of one of those small blue handball came out and I was like "no way, this can't be real, what the in the actual heck is going on here". Needless to say, my truck is running so much better than now, better yet, even better than the day I bought it brand-new.Moral of the story is give it a try and let the vehicle run for at least forty-five minutes or drive around for a day or two and let the cleaner do it's magic. The take away is the cleaner is a solvent that activates when there's enough heat and pressure emanating from the transmission. So think of it like Drain-O for your car π.Liqui Moly, I am forever indebted to your amazing line of products and am a forever believer in your products.I wish everyone the best in their endeavors of Do-it-yourself car repairs/preventative maintenance.Cheers π»
