A bit fiddly but does the job perfectly.
Slightly complicated and fiddly to do, but not too bad really. All the specialist tools are included. The quality is good and it looked just like the original. It all fits together well and works as it should. Just take your time and follow the video on YouTube and you’ll be fine. Works perfectly and saves a lot of money on a key replacement.

Perfect replacement....go for it
Worked a treat. Easy to swap bits over. Tools are great. Screw holds halves together for added security. Will get another for a spare. No issue with thickness of plastic etc. Save yourself 50 plus quid in timpsons. Original opened in seconds. Use a pair of external circlip pliers inserted into gap under key blade holder and it pops open. They are bonded but easy to split.

A suitable replacement
It seems I have an older version of the Astra J key fob which is completely sealed and an absolute nightmare to remove the circuit board undamaged. Why! Vauxhall would chose to do this is beyond me. Perhaps because an actual replacement is north of £200. The replacement keyfob is well constructed and the tools are also well constructed and robust and easy to use. It is an adequate replacement, given you can liberate all the parts you need for a functioning keyfob. Perhaps check you are going to be able to remove the circuit board from your existing keyfob easily before purchase.

Saved loads of money on Vauxhall key replacement
A bit fiddly, a hammer and small file helps. Easily done by anyone a bit handy. Sorted out my Mokka key problem.

If you are considering buying this Item, please don't hesitate, as I found it to be great quality and value for money.If you find any problems transferring the old fob parts to the new fob, there are plenty of very helpful videos on YouTube.

Saves money.
Easy to replace work fob. Just make sure electronics are working. You do need to make small adjustments to the blade but quite simple. While process took me 10 mins. Held together by a screw and not glue which is a great improvement.I even managed to transfer the car logo from the old case.
