TUSITA Cycling Saddle Bag Clip Mount (Small Slot) Compatible with Garmin Varia RTL515, RTL510, RVR315

This is the second saddle bag clip mount I have purchased I was impressed at the evolution of the product.There is now an optional lock screw to prevent the clip from accidentally detaching from the saddle bag, which my original one did on the test ride. There is also now a tether loop which provides a way of attaching a tether cord that prevent losing the clip and attached light should the clip or bag loop fail.I bought it for use with a Bryton Gardia so had to rotate the mount through 90 degrees, which is not documented in the enclosed instructions. This requires unscrewing clip on the rear by removing the two screws at the top and then allows access to the two additional screw holes that allow the mounting bracket to be rotated 90 degrees. All the screws require a small Allen Key/hex wrench.

The clip is not secure enough to stop it falling off when going over bumps. This would be so easy to fix in the product. I've drilled part of it and added a zip tie so it cannot fall off again.Given the price of the light, I feel very lucky nobody ran the light over after it fell.

It works very well with Garmin Varia radar and of course, is a product that is used to facilitate the Garmin Varia to connect in a places where certain mounting options do not work, so this makes things easier, for example back seat bags or bike panniers. At the beginning of the installation you will have to be careful because it is a fragile product and there are some people who comment about its fragility. In my case I don't think I had or have any problems, it works normally.

Well made works perfect to attach your Garmin radar light to your saddle bags. Used approx 20 times and security of the light is good. The mini screw is a nice touch for extra security to prevent the clip slipping loose.

While riding down a bumpy road the plastic clip snapped clean off. It was only a stroke of luck that meant my Varia didn't get run over by the SUV behind me.
