Great choice for a fast general use PC
I've used a few of these (H610m S2H) motherboards and have been entirely happy with them. The same can be said of Gigabyte mobos in general. They are reliable. I have not experienced the other reviewers problem with XMP memory - perhaps his was an older BIOS or was faulty. I've used both 1 and 2 DIMMS and have no issues. They are an excellent choice for office or home PCs and coupled with an M" nvme drive (I find integral are reliable) make for a responsive machine.A wide range of CPU can be used (12/13/14 gen) and work impressively well with the Pentium range - when they can be bought at a sensible price. Which is not at the time of writing this review. It is important to run the Gigabyte update app once Windows is installed. This will install drivers that do not get picked up by Windows update

Enabling XMP causes boot failure
Bought this to replace an MSI H610 mobo I had which developed a fault with one of the DIMM slots. Using same CPU and memory, this will not boot at all if XMP memory profile is enabled. The only way past it is to clear CMOS and use memory at it's default speed. I tried 3 memory sticks from Patriot, Ballistix, and Corsair that I have and none worked when XMP is enabled.
