Game-Changer for Brassy Hair
If you're dealing with brassy orange tones in lightened brunette hair, this conditioner is a must-have. I was skeptical at first, but after just one use, the difference was undeniable—shinier, cooler-toned hair that actually felt healthier too.🌀 Tones Brass Without Over-DryingAs advertised (page 1), the formula neutralizes orange undertones fast, and it does so without making your hair feel brittle like other toning products sometimes do. My strands felt smooth and hydrated right after rinsing, which is rare for something so pigment-packed.🌱 Vegan, Salon-Quality FormulaThe formula is vegan and highly pigmented (page 1), and it really shows. You get the results of a salon glossing treatment without the expense. Plus, it smells amazing—not chemically, but clean and refreshing.💧 Great for Maintaining Color Between Salon VisitsThe product line (page 2) is designed to work with the Matrix Brass Off Shampoo, Hair Mask, and Toning Spray, but even when used solo, this conditioner keeps my hair cool-toned and manageable between touch-ups.🧴 A Little Goes a Long WayAs noted on the usage section (page 1), you don’t need much—just a small amount, left on for 5–10 minutes, is enough to do the job. I use it once a week and it keeps the brassiness away without buildup.✅ Pros:Removes orange tones quickly and effectivelyLeaves hair feeling soft and smoothSalon-grade results at homeSmells great and doesn’t stain hands when rinsed properly❌ Cons:None for me—just be sure to follow directions carefullyOverall:This is hands-down one of the best toning conditioners I’ve tried. Whether you’re between salon appointments or just need a maintenance boost, it delivers every time. Brass is gone, shine is back, and hair feels amazing.

Bye bye bass
Product works as described, has helped keep my blonde highlights blonde. The conditioner is thick and helps make my very thick course hair soft. The blue color does not stain my skin and it helps keep the blonde the color i wanted longer.

Great Product
I've been using purple shampoo for my blonde highlights. A friend recommended this and it has changed my life! (At least my hair LOL) No more orange and yellow tones. I use the shampoo and condition and although the shampoo doesn't lather as much as I was use to with Ameka products, it does have a soft, fresh scent and does exactly what I needed it to. Worth the money if you have blonde highlights or golden lowlights.

A must have if you have blonde hair
Gives the best ashy blonde look out of all the shampoos and conditioners I have tried. Smells great, great price, does not irritate my skin, my hair is healthy, still has moisture, and it works every time I use it even when my roots are growing in.

Smell is not for me - product is just ok
It was fine. It was messy as expected, sort of toned down the brassiness in my hair as expected. Kind of left my hair feeling a little rough instead of smooth, but was able to deal with that w other products. However, it smells like public bathroom cleaner. Sort of cloying sickly orange scented? The brass off shampoo doesn’t smell like that. I haven’t come across anything by matrix that smells like it. Thankfully. I had to rewash my hair after using it.

It works
Helps with softness of hair. Seems effective with keeping brassy colors away. I feel it’s a bit expensive but it does work well.
