Coffee Machine Descaler - 16.9oz (4 Uses), Universal Descaling Solution Compatible with Keurig, Nespresso, Delonghi and All Single Use Coffee and Espresso Machines

My 7-year-old Keurig continues to work great thanks to using this excellent liquid descaler every 3 months. Before my unit begins to take longer to finish a heating cycle or makes popping sounds, it's scheduled for a quarterly descale. Mineral build up is no match for this product, plus there's no odor, and one bottle provides 4 economical cleanings.

This coffee machine cleaner seems to work well (see before and after images for comparison). It does not have any smell to it and did not produce any residue. As soon as I poured some into the coffee pot, I immediately noticed gunk floating around. Of course, I also cleaned the outside of the container separately, but it seemed to do a good job with the inside surfaces. Few points to make: it is a cumbersome process, because you have to 'brew' the water several times to allow for the cleaner to filter out of the machine. While the instructions tell you to use 4 oz of the cleaner per use, they do not specify for what size of the coffee maker. Also, the instructions state to set the machine on "descaling cycle," however my machine does not have that option, so I just ran it as I would when brewing coffee. The instructions also state to dispose of the contents "following local regulations." I am not sure about everywhere else, but my local authorities do not exactly provide instructions on how to dispose of sodium metasilicate, which is basically the only ingredient in this cleaning solution. After reading up on this, sodium metasilicate is contained in many dish and laundry detergents, so I assume it would be disposed of in the same manner. Overall, I am happy with the end result and glad that there is enough product for multiple uses.

This was super easy to use, descaled coffee maker quickly and coffee tastes better. I liked that it didn't have any harsh chemicals.

I have only used this product once but it seemed to work as described. More affordable than Kurig brand.

I used this product following the directions carefully. It said to only run 1 pot of water thru the coffee maker after using the descaler. That was not nearly enough. It leaves an awful taste in the machine that is difficult to get out even after running numerous pots of water thru it. I thought I would have to throw the machine away it was so bad. I do not recommend using this product!

The bottle contains 10 fl oz of descaling liquid enough for 2 uses. Made of plant based ingredients. I followed instructions and used it in my Kuerig machine. Before use, I inspected the machine and could visibly see limescale in the water reservoir and coffee stains in the pod holder. I followed instructions and descaled the machine. After completing the entire process, I inspected the machine and found most of the limescale has disappeared and coffee stains gone. However, there are still remnants of some limescale in the reservoir.Overall, it works to a large extent. Depending on how often you clean your coffee machine, some limescale takes multiple cleanings to get rid of.

I think this will work just fine

I was concerned about using a generic cleaner in my Keurig since I bought Keurig brand in the past and they destroyed my machine. This product worked so much better! It flushed so much gunk out of my Keurig, I couldn't believe it. I cleaned it a few days ago, and it's running perfectly with no problems. And I love that the bottle comes with little measuring lines on the bottle. Save your money and buy this instead of name brand!
