This replacement part was fairly easy to install and it's working as it should. Happy not to have to replace the whole water heater.

I had it overnighted which cost me an extra $50, but it showed up on time! Installation was pretty straight forward with the help of YouTube. I had a heck of time getting it to keep the pilot light to stay lit, but after multiple tries everything started working right (wait the 10 minutes in between if I doesn't stay lit the 1st time, and wait for the light to blink one time before you release the pilot light button). You have to be patient with getting it lit. It threw the 7 blinking lights (bad gas valve) error after I finally got it started, but that cleared up after running for about 10 minutes, my old one did the same thing. So far so good, has went through multiple heat cycles now.
