Simply put, it does what it claims to do and I've purchased it again. We've tried a VAST variety of "thickening" shampoos and conditioners, most with lackluster results. The effectiveness. end result and our satisfaction with Kenra is undeniable - it does thicken hair and the the finished look is noticeable and satisfying. Yes, the product is expensive - at ANY retailer. However, if you want to avoid a revolving door of less effective volume shampoos and conditioners, Kenra appears to be the best at what it promises to do.

My hair is on the oily side and this is my favorite shampoo. I still wash every other day but my hair doesn’t start looking dirty like it does with some other shampoos. My hair is soft and shiny. The shampoo smells good in the shower although I don’t think the scent really sticks around afterward.
