They are clean, however, my personal preference is to send water down each as to insure there are no holes in them and is best practice.

Q: Does the package have to be refrigerated when received or is it shelf stable?

While the casings are packed in purified salt for extended shelf life, it is recommended that you also refrigerate for maximum quality.

It has been over a year but I'm pretty sure it was in the USA.

Q: What size stuffer do I need to use for these casings?

I would say an 18 mm or 21mm would work for this casing.
