Works with protective covers
Looks good, works well and most importantly, one of the only ones that works with the PS Portal when it has a protective cover or sleeve on it. My son's Portal has a thick perspex shell around it, front and back, and this charger works fine and supports it perfectly while charging. The RGB LEDs add a nice visual touch and the whole thing matches the Portal very well.

Awkward in use
This charging dock looks quite neat and the LED ring around the base is nice.I'm not a fan of the detachable magnetic USB C adaptor used to charge the Portal. It's too easy to lose and sometimes stays in the Portal, sometimes stays attached to the base, sometimes you lift the whole dock with the Portal so no consistency in operation making docking the Portal somewhat fiddly.

A great charger - but unplug the blue light.
“I really like this charger, and it’s great for displaying my PS Portal. I turned off all the lights, but was disappointed that the blue/red status light couldn’t be toggled off.For those feeling adventurous, it’s easy to remove the bottom with a screwdriver and disconnect the chip powering the light. Now it’s perfect!
