I absolutely love the ease of this hairpin! I have medium-thick hair that hits around my bra line and used this hairpin to securely hold a top knot bun and it stayed secure the whole afternoon while I walked around the state fair on a windy day! It is about 4 inches long and will stick out of the top and bottom but because of the gold color, it adds a unique look to your boring top knot. I’ve also used it in nape of the neck buns and figure 8 knots in the middle back of the head. All of them hold well.

I wasn't sure about well this clip would hold my French twist. Ordered it because it is larger than the hair pins I usually use. I needn't have been skeptical, this pin secures long hair into a French twist exceptionally well. I have worn it all day, even through an exercise class, and it performed perfectly. Easy to slide into position too. It's a bit heavier than plastic clips but the weight isn't a problem or uncomfortable. Recommend this clip for those with long hair that want it to stay all day in twist or similar.

Once you learn the how it works, it's easy to use. I advise you to look up videos on how to properly use the pin before trying it on your own. There are videos of different hairstyles, too.

Good looking sturdy product but even after watching videos, I just can't get this to work for my hair. Falls out no matter what I do, and I have medium thick hair - not fine, not coarse or thick, medium to long length. What am I doing wrong? Right now, it looks like a useless weapon sitting in my nightstand drawer. So much for the French hair pin, quel dommage.

took me a while to figure out how the pin works- before i was literally bending paperclips into hairpins to hold my hair up but after figuring it out i love this thing. i have a LOT of hair and this manages to keep it in place most of the day. I haven't tried using it while running or anything but I cleaned my whole kitchen without it falling out

I thought this would not work, but it’s fantastic. Easy to use. I usually ponytail and then do the wrap and put it in. It’s a cleaner line than a clip and you can rest your head back without a bulky clip jabbing you.

Why did I wait so long to invest in one of these? It holds my long wavy hair very comfortably and securely without any pain that I usually get with Bobby pins. It is great quality and the color is classy. Don’t hesitate to get one.
