Very easy install and set up. I like the app and multiple operating OS. I especially like the geo fencing perimeters, it ranges from close to 10 miles or more. Other thermostats that I have tried are only a few hundred feet.I also like the vacation set up also very nice programing. I am a heating & air company owner. I have been in the business over 30 years, and I give this thermostat 5 stars plus +++

Detailed instructions were great. I did have some questions about the app but the response from customer support was great and the detailed manual for the app was really useful. Running the furnace from my phone has been really useful.

I now have a total of eight of these thermostats. Five of them for Mitsubishi heat pumps, mini splits, 1 for a Tosot-gree heat pump, mini split and two for conventional hot air and hot water baseboard. For the heat pump, mini splits, it was pretty much plug-and-play after following the directions. The hot air system with AC in my house would not work after following the wiring diagram. I called customer service and spoke with Jason and after a few pictures back-and-forth figured out that I did not have a C wire to my thermostat. Made one connection at the furnace and we were up and running. I find these thermostats, more user-friendly than the thermostats that we’re going to come with the Mitsubishi and tosot heat pump mini split units. The six thermostats that I have for my heat pump mini splits are 400 miles away and I have no problem controlling them with the app on my phone.

Recently added some mini split heat pumps in my house that did not have wifi controllers, which lead me to stumbling upon the Cielo brand to control them using their other product. Since I didn't want to have multiple apps and preferred to keep everything together, I ditched my other smart thermostat and switched to this new one by Cielo.So far it has been great! My setup is very basic with a two wire oil system, so I'm not using any of the more complicated features, but it does the job. Setup worked perfect with an additional plug in adapter to add a C wire. No issues with wiring complaints like some of the other smart thermostats when you try to add a fake C wire.The only problems I've seen (across all of the Cielo products, including this one) is that they seem to be very new products, so there are a bunch of minor bugs here and there with the interface, scheduling, timing, etc, HOWEVER, their support team has been extremely responsive in assisting and have rolled out fixes very quickly. Still giving it five stars because of the support! If you have any issues don't hesitate to reach out to their support team.Finally, I feel like the interface of the app could be streamlined better to be more intuitive, there is quite a lot you can do and it can get confusing quickly mixing multiple devices and models, but most of it is just UI/UX and will get better with time.No regrets, good products over all.

It's been more than 10 days since they returned it and they won't return it until 7 days from now, that is, almost 20 days for the refund, it's not fair.

So I installed this thermostat and wasn’t getting anything on the display. I called in to their customer support and after waiting about 10 minutes, I was connected with a very knowledgeable person that had me up and running in less than 30 minutes after I sent a few pictures of my connection at the furnace and old thermostat. I would recommend buying this thermostat and rest assured they will help you if you have any issues. And the app is great. Easy to use.

This is my third Cielo thermostat, two for my split heat pump system that I’ve used for quite a few years and this one now for my oil fired boiler system. I had to purchase a separate transformer since the system is heat-only with no c-wire, but it’s not a big deal. I did need to contact customer support on how to hook it up, but they were super-responsive and stepped me through everything, and even called back to check on my progress when I didn’t get back to them as quickly as I should have. Super company to work with And a quality product.
