Works well
We knew it was insanely humid but not how badly. This dehumidifier works wonderfully. Have to empty the water twice a day so it was definitely needed. We have a 2800 Sq ft home and have one on the 1st floor and one on the 2nd. They both work well, are controlled well by the app and function perfectly. If I need more I will definitely consider this brand again. I will say we actually like the "white noise" it produces on high speed. Some may want the quiet of low speed though.Update 4-28-24We still loves these machines. Working wonderfully with no problems!

Nice hardware; Confusing instructions
We've had it for about a day. The hardware seems good. The manual is hard to understand. I made sure to let it be upright for at least an hour before using it. But then it says we're supposed to let it run continuously for 24 hours. What does that mean? Do we plug it in, turn it on and walk away for a day? Or does that mean it should be on the continuous setting for that long? If so, why? It has been running for six hours and the humidity in the house is in the mid 30s and dropping. That's a lot lower than we want it. Why do we need to do that? Is it okay to put it outside for these 24 hours? Is it okay to interrupt it to put it outside? I hate these translated manuals, especially those written with the assumption the customer knows how to work these machines. One star deducted for not being easy to use, with a manual that's painful to read.It does connect with Alexa, but the only thing that can be done is turn it off and on. There's a humidity setting, but it won't move away from 35. There's also a mode setting, but it also won't change. There's no explanation in the manual, nor is there any mention of how to use it with Alexa at all. It was pure luck that I discovered how to connect it.The app itself wasn't hard to get working. It only took a few tries. I'd like to deduct a star for having to install yet another app on my phone, but every company wants its own app so they can track our behavior. How many single-purpose apps are enough? I'm trying to remember if there ever was another purpose for phones besides being a repository for every damn app imaginable. The machine is somewhat noisy, so don't plan to put it in a bedroom or family room. No star deduction for noise, though, because they're all noisy. That's all for now. In another 18 hours of continuous use and the near complete desiccation of our home, we'll be able to see if we like using this dehumidifier.

App fails to connect device to WiFi
I bought this over other similar devices solely for the Wi-Fi/Smart home capabilities. After downloading the app and going through the setup process multiple times, it fails to connect to the app/wifi. I am well versed in connecting products to my WiFi/Google home network and there was no getting around this issue. Part of the problem MIGHT be that when selecting your home WiFi network, there isn’t a ‘list’ of available networks to chose from, meaning you have to manually input your network name and password. This possibly makes it less likely to connect. But even after triple checking the spelling, verifying capitalized/lowercase letters, etc of the network name and password, it still doesn’t connect. This is an expensive device yet other devices I have that are way less ‘technologically advanced’ have no problems connecting to my home WiFi. This needs to be fixed !!!

Dehumidifier matches item description.
The dehumidifier has been a very efficient humidity reducer for our house’s 2nd floor. It is sleek and it’s plug cores is as advertised. While I don’t mind the sounds I’d it while it’s running, it is a little like white noise. We position it in the upstairs hallway, so that all the upstairs rooms benefit, including the 15’ stairwell space. The reservoir fills, and in west to empty, about every 7-8 hours (depending on how much humidity is in your space) on the comfort setting. Our goal is to remove 40-50% humidity. We’ve noticed our space stays much cooler with our thermostat settings identical to what we keep them on as a constant 71 degrees. Good performance for the price.

Loud and not accurate
This machine does dehumidify your room. The issue is one; it’s really loud, and two; the thermostat is inaccurate of more than 10% of the humidity level, having the machine shut off prematurely. Posted a photo of a thermostat I use to check room humidity levels. It’s effective, but way off and inconvenient.

Effective Despite Shortcomings
The dehumidifier itself works well, as it can dehumidify a room in short order. The wheels roll smoothly and help with repositioning if needed, provided the you aren't rolling it about over high pile carpets or rugs. The reservoir is a little clunky, as manipulating it to remove or reinstall isn't the smoothest. My primary gripe with this product is the manufacturer calling it's operation "quiet," which is wildly misleading. This thing generates plenty of noise, well exceeding that of an air circulator. The companion app took numerous attempts to identify and connect to the dehumidifier; however, setting a schedule and operating the device once connected has been straightforward. Given the noise from its operation, I have set it to run in the living room on a schedule from midnight to sunrise only so the house isn't disturbed.

Affordable ROOM dehumidifier with ONLINE access.
I use this in my music studio when not recording. It's not particularly noisy, but need quite when recording. I like the feature where I can hook up a regular garden hose up to it to hook to a nearby drain I've installed.Has many, many features and even more available thru the APP.Screen very easy to clean. Flashing reminder light after so many hours of use
