Kikkerland Collapsible Travel Chopsticks,Silver

Very quick to deploy. I've tried many and these are the most compact and convenient travel chopsticks by far. The handles act as sheaths for the chopsticks keeping them clean in your bag. Feels well made and durable. Don't dishwash because of the wood. Satisfying feel when deploying and sheathing. Look excellent but I wish there were more wood and metal color options. Like black

The Kikkerland "Collapsible Travel Chopsticks" are surprisingly well made and convenient for such an inexpensive set. I also have two sets of Snow Peak Carry-on Chopsticks, but do not always remember to carry them along so was looking for good sets to keep in my cars. These Kikkerland Chopsticks come in a serviceable plastic case that includes a nice low profile pocket clip, so it is easy to carry them in shirt or pants pocket.The chopsticks bodies are a very light metal with wooden tips. Each chopstick is two individual pieces, a hollow handle and the "pointy end", that assemble to a normal length for use or can be disassembled and the "pointy end" stored in the hollow handle. The connection is purely friction held and my only real concern about these is that they will loosen up over time.I washed these before first using them and then after each use to make sure they are always ready when I need them.Highly Recommend!CFH

I painted my case with a stencil and good spray paint just to customize it. These are very cool looking, portable and sturdy. They are a little top heavy in the hand but it reads as solidness. The wood feels a little rough on the lips and they are not sealed in a way that makes them non-porous. When they are folded up in the case it is noticeably heavy for such a small object. These would also go well in a camp cooking/serving setup. There are many things that chop sticks work good for in the kitchen.

These are fun little chopsticks to keep around. Surprisingly heavy, they are actually very sturdy. Both fit together tightly and never came loose during use. They aren't as long as many people might be used to but I found them perfectly adequate.The wooden ends are a nice touch, but do add a bit to clean up since you don't want to leave wood soaking with the dishes. But the wood ends make picking up food a little easier as well.Even the plastic case they come in is tough. If there could be such a thing as 'survival chopsticks' this set would be a top contender.If you like the novelty or convenience of break-down chopsticks, these are a good value.

I love Asian food and eat in a restaurant at least weekly when taking my 88 year old mom shopping. I love the food and am proud of myself for learning to use chopsticks. I wanted to be more environmentally responsible and had admired a friend's folding chopsticks for some time. These chopsticks were moderate in price. They work well and easily. The case is convenient and easily carried in purse or pocket. I particularly like the squared shape which makes the chopsticks much easier for me to use. The wooden tips grab and hold food better. The also don't transfer heat like all metal chopsticks do. I got one of the highly rated more expensive brands of travel chopsticks as a gift at the same time. I must say, I like these much better and the price was less.

I own multiple pairs of the kikkerland chopsticks. They are somewhat squared instead of round, fairly compact and the case is easy to use and convieniant. The items that ship are NOT kikkerland branded. Ive included photos for your comparison between what is represented in the listing. The product that arrived is bigger, fully round (not squared) this effects the grip negatively. Additionally the wood section is longer and less secure. I would say by comparison the new wood is less desirable and less durable.

These travel-size collapsible chopsticks are great! I got them as a present for my spouse who had lost her previous pair and she is thrilled. They are lightweight and well made. The carry case is nice, though it would be greatly improved if the lid was attached to the case. It is easy to lose the small cap. They fit well in a pocket, lunch bag, or other small carry case and are easy to use once you master the use of chopsticks in general. The wood-like tips make it easier to grip foods with and is a nice touch.

I love it because it feels good between my fingers, it's not to thick, I love the compact carrying case. It's easy to clean and it gets lots of compliments. But my ultimate love comes from the wooden tips. Somehow, it feels good to have the wood chopstick tips in my mouth opposed to the metal. It also makes less noise as the wood is quieter than metal.
