Cheap c**p
You get what you pay for, this has been thrown away weeks ago. Not only can it not steam on low temperature but it melts the rubber pads on the base so it ruins the iron plate. This truly mad a boring job…..Hell. Spend a little more on a decent brand

I’m confused!
I’m confused. I’m not a steam iron expert but there seems to be three key measures with steam irons. Volume of steam, power to create steam and water tank volume. Looking at the stats this iron stands out with 120g steam, 3100w and 1.5 litre capacity. Irons costing five times the price weren’t hitting these figures so my confusion is why would anyone buy them? Just for the name on a sticker on the side perhaps? Well they’re all made in the same Chinese factory so that makes no difference at all. All I know is this iron performs so well I’m leaving a review, and I never leave reviews unless I’m really impressed.

Easy to use.
It generates a substantial amount of steam and heats up quickly. If there is leftover water, some may spill when disconnecting the water tank after use.

Great upgrade enjoy the steam
After 10 years I had to replace my old steam generator iron. I choose the Hamilton because I liked the style and the reviews said everything I wanted to hear , it's light to hold easy to use the eco button makes sense if you have a lot to do and I love the auto 10 minute turn of ( my wife has been known to iron quickly and forget to turn off the iron). Also this model has a self cleaning button to make sure limescales doesn't build up. One word of advice in cleaning the iron pushes a lot of water though the iron not sure but I'm going to try a bath towel next time as it socked my ironing board cover . I also like the under storage for the power and steam hose very helpful when moving the iron , plus the lock button that holds the iron to the base unit. All in all I'm very happy with it .

Great iron but tripped the RCD.
This is a really good iron but it tripped the RCD on first use. We’ve used it several times since and it has been ok. Very quick to heat up and works well.
