The scholl velvet smooth is really helpful to use on my feet, i am disabled & using a hand held file is not an option. I also bought replacement files as recommended by Amazon Would recommend & purchase again

I purchased this for my Wife as she wanted something that was going to aid with removing dry flakey skin as she does a lot of running. This Scholl velvet smooth foot file did a perfect job in removing all dried skin, it is very comfortable to use when in operation, the performance is very good due to having 2 speed settings, it is very light weight and the battery life so far is brilliant (batteries are included within the pack)She highly recommends this product for those in same or similar situations.

Smooths the feet although for very rough and hardened skin may take some time to become soft comes with another head - doesn't do much but might differ person to person. Very easy to use and does not hurt skin in any way.

Bought as a replacement for my previous model of Scholl foot file. Very effective at removing dried hard skin. Hope it has as long a service as the last one.

If it's cracked really bad heels you're concerned about this is the product for you, l no longer need to pine for a pedicure during lockdown. It is most effective if you go lightly on the surface of your heels as you see the fine dust flying off what were your hard heels. I presoaked my feet for 10 minutes in warm soapy water, dried them and used the foot file on my embarrassingly hard heels and was astounded by the results. If you have very bad heels, regard this as a 2 or 3 session job spaced by several days as you don't want to race with this effective job as your feet may hurt if you over do it. My heels were 80% better at then end of one session. To get the best out of this, l finished off with a generous amount of petroleum jelly massaged onto my feet, and if you can bear it, a pair of socks over night will have your feet thanking you for your generous and lavish attention.

I feel like all it did was save time. I could have done the same job manually but it would have taken ages. I'll continue to use it as it gives the results I want.Nothing in the description said that the product wouldn't be in English so I had to translate the Spanish instructions before using it.

I've seen this around for a couple of years and always put off buying one because it's a pretty hefty price tag for a spinny thing, and also thinking me and a 'cheese grater' could do a better job but the past year my feet have got ALOT worse. I've tried so many different things with so much agro but I've had this thing 30 minutes and the difference is insane! It was so satisfying feeling how smooth my heel is already and really cut through the hard dry skin with 0 pain. The first power setting is naff but the second one blasted through the thick dead skin, again sorry for the grossness! I used the Sholl Cracked heal balm after and genuinely my feet feel so much better already, really looking forward to use this to keep on top of my heels.Also took me 30 seconds to get into the packaging, I just bend it at the back where the bubble plastic was and it popped right open.

I play badminton and lately I have been getting manky cracked feet on my soles. This thing is a bit expensive for what it is, but to be fair it does seem to help. I used it once and it’s taken some of the dry skin off and smoothed my feet a bit - I then stick some moisturising cream on them, seems to be working. I’ll continue to use it and hopefully that will solve the problem. I found it powerful enough, don’t want it too strong anyway :) would be better if it was rechargeable, 4/5 star.
