Thi pruner is performing well above my expectations.My Dewalt 20v batteries fit perfectly. It comes with a full set of replacement blades and tools needed to replace them. The pruner easily handles branches up to 1.5 in. diameter, and is light weight and so effortless to use, even with my arthritis, I can work for hours with it. It is rugged, and with normal maintenance, should last a long time. I like it so much, I bought a second one and an extra set of blades.

2000 cuts in two days. No more aching hands. Easily cuts 1 inch branches. Dewalt batteries work perfectly. Wish I had this tool 30 years ago.

It’s a nice tool once you understand it. A bit heavy at full extension and somewhat awkward to align to high branches at that configuration. Something I hadn’t considered. It’s too early for a full review. I’ll update as I use it. First impressions are it has too many safety switched in the extension configuration. I repeatedly turned it off accidentally because they located the on off switch next to the trigger on the pole.

Wish I'd had these 20 years ago! I have about 2 dozen semi-dwarf, heritage apple trees that seem to get out of control every year, and these help manage the pruning. I already have several Makita batteries, which helped me decide, though 2 similar batteries and a charger are included. The kit also includes a set of replacement blades. The pruner is strong and sharp, usually making a good cut. The 8-ft. extension helps, but isn't easy to use for long periods because the battery makes the unit heavy and not well-balanced. I find operating for long periods with the extension tiring because I have to keep looking up-hard on the neck, and sun or bright overcast sky causes eye strain. Sometimes can't manage close cuts in tight quarters because of the battery's bulk. Beware the reset after the cut is made-it's strong. I found the included shoulder strap not helpful. WOULD BUY AGAIN! Hope it proves durable.

Same as other people. My unit stopped working after a few months. Despite what the Amazon site claims, there is no way to contact the manufacturer to get the unit repaired under warranty. No number, no email @, no website, nothing ....

Great grape pruning shears. Saves time. Must buy steel mesh glove for safety. The shears could cut your finger off. Battery lasts a long time. Battery not included. Do not cut a grow wire as it will dull the blade.
