The directions are extremely lacking, but with some simple brain work and common sense, its easy to figure out. I'm primarily referring to the wire size adjustment. You need to turn the plate over to accomadate large wire. Once you get it all figured out, it does a pretty good job. One hour of work and it already paid for itself.

The media could not be loaded. No assembly needed, easy to use especially with a drill, just make any adjustments based on size of wire and start stripping. The build quality is decent, no issues experienced as I zipped through over 850 meters of 10 gauge wire. It took me about 3 hours to strip over 95 pounds of tin coated copper wire. I spent most of the time untangling and untwisting the wire so it could feed through the machine. Also took about half the time ripping the wire out of the plastic jacket.95 pounds of wire in 3 hours makes this a great value and investment. It would have otherwise taken me several days. And this was without any other help.

This wire stripper attached to a drill peeled wire off no problem very fast. Best 32$ I could have spent as it worked great and save lots of time . Had to adjust from 2 awg to 10 awg wire on the fly very easily. I’ve stripped about 150 lbs + of wire with original wheel. Definitely worth the money .

Don't overtighten the set screws for securing the handle or adjusting or replacing the blade. When I first received the stripper, I wanted to test it first by securing the handle. It worked well, so I wanted to attach a drill to it. I was unable to remove the handle after removing the set screw. It seems that the shaft for the blade is of a softer metal and scored the shaft. I needed to use a pulley removal tool to get the handle off. The same thing happened when trying to center the blade. I thought I had centered it and I re-tightened the set screws. The scoring from the original manufacturing had left the blade free to move, and it was damaged by the wire feeder wheel. Be aware. However, GREAT WIRE STRIPPER!

This thing is genuinely awesome. Idk why anyone is having trouble making adjustments, first time using it right before writing this review and I am so impressed. Glides through the wire coating like butter. You don’t even need to hook up your drill, just crank it through. It goes through very fast. I don’t know why I waited so long to buy this. If you scrap wire and have access to a lot of it, just buy this. It’s so worth it. Will literally save you hours and hours.

My husband is an electrician and his hands were hurting him from skimming so much wire. So I got him this and he said it works great! He said to give it five stars, because not only did it work fantastic it was a great price! He would definitely recommend it

Decent for Light Use, But Don’t Expect Heavy-Duty DurabilityThis wire stripping machine is not bad for what it is, especially considering the price. It does the job for casual use, but the materials used to construct it aren’t up to handling heavy-duty work.After running a few hundred feet of wire through it, I encountered an issue: one of the guide wheel set screws loosened, and the threads on the guide wheel stripped. This left me with two options—replace the entire unit or spend a couple of hours disassembling it to drill the shaft and pulley, allowing me to add a locking machine screw. I chose the latter, but it was a frustrating fix.That said, for the price, I didn’t expect top-tier durability. If you’re planning to strip tens of thousands of feet of wire, you’ll probably run into similar issues. However, for my needs, it got the job done and ultimately paid for itself. Just keep in mind it’s a budget tool, so set your expectations accordingly.
