Fun!
My daughter's birthday theme was axolotl's so these were perfect! Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because they didn't come with the string for the masks and didn't have enough time to reorder or replace. Otherwise she and her friend loved them!

The girls loved them. They are scratch off so there is a mess. But we love the looks.

Great quality and they made for a fun Social Studies project
I gave these out as a fun project at the end of our Mexico Social Studies unit. We had learned about where axolotls come from and about talaveras, alebrijes, and Dia de los Muertos.I put some inspiration pictures on the board, and kids decorated with own masks in Mexican style. The sticks that come with this are thicker and higher quality than other sets I've ordered. They also are great for making bold lines.The only tricky part was getting the elastic bands on. They were a bit long, so I put them in from the front and wrapped them behind.

Fun and simple Axolotl toddler craft
My son is obsessed with Axolotl right now due to minecraft. This was the perfect craft to help pull him willing away from the tablet and lead to some creative and imaginative play. There is a wooden dowel for each mask which would make this kit prefect for a kids party. I was a bit worried that the wooden dowel would be to sharp but it was fine. I liked that it had two ends on the wooden dowel that had different effects on the paper and my son really enjoyed trying out. He decorated 2 masks and for about 15 minutes and then 30 minutes of wearing the mask and imaginative play. The elastic bands that came with the masks were the perfect size for a toddler head and easy to connect to the mask. I would absolutely get this set again if I were hosting a party.

Missing string, flimsy
Pack was missing the string and I gave these as a gift. Very cheap packaging, basically falling apart before I got it. Kids enjoyed scratching the masks in the end just couldn't wear them.

Axolotls are the hotness
These were perfect for a girl scout troop meeting, as the axolotl is the mascot for this year's cookie program. Axolotls are everywhere, and my kids (4 & 8) both love them. The masks are of typical quality for scratch art items. It would be nice if they included the same number of wooden sticks as masks, but I only needed 15 anyway, so this worked nicely for my purposes.If you need 30 masks AND 30 sticks, however, you're going to need to pick up some extra sticks. That being said, the wooden sticks that are included are larger and sturdier than in most other scratch art kits I've seen.

Super small/tight
This was extremely small. The elastic was unrealistic for anyone much less a child. It's okay if you decide to use your own strings
