Awesome sim card for Italy and Switzerland
Great sim card that worked well almost everywhere I visitied in Switzerland and Italy. I used the sim card for a 2 week trip including locations in: munich, Zurich, les diablerets, interlaken area (murren, gimmelwald, grindelwald, etc.), milan, venice, florence, cinque terre, rome, naples, and palermo. Almost everywhere had constant 4G besides when going in tunnels in trains and some spotty service in cique terre areas. There was even 5G in switzerland. I used about 8 Gbs for 2 weeks with constant usage (emails, games, google, maps, apps) but no streaming videos. Easy set up - just put it in and make sure data roaming is on and your phone is unlocked. I tended to restart my phone whenever I entered a new country which I've been told can help signal quality. You get a phone number and can call/send and recieve texts which was useful for booking restuarant reservations. Great value and probably good for a 3 week trip anywhere it works in EU.

Works for 5 minutes.
Don't buy. This only works for a few minutes before it asks you to load a bunch of personal details including a picture ID. No way. The days of physical Sim cards are over. Buy an E-Sim when in Europe. Bought for UK trip from US.

Useability, number of countries it does work in
I have to say it was very easy to use and I went ot 12 countries and it only did not work in Turkish countries, but Orange Travel did point that out before hand and they were correct. All the other countries the signal was flawless and in 28 days I used very little of the 70 GB I had at my disposal. Would buy again when needed.

Perfect Travel Solution
My husband and I went to our Xfinity store to ask about phone plans for traveling in Europe. We were told it would be $10 per day, per phone. We were going to be gone 15 days, so that would be $300! Lucky for us, a different employee was at the counter and told us about this Orange sim card. We bought it, followed the instructions, and were well pleased with the utility, efficiency and cost. We'll buy it again for our next trip. An excellent solution to travel costs.

Great product & seemless set up
We are buying & using the Preloaded Orange Travel Sim Card in Europe for few years now. This time we used in Germany, Italy, Sweden & Norway and worked without any issues. I inserted the sim card when we landed in FRA and turned on the phone and worked perfectly. We went from Germany to Italy and then to Scandinavian countries and again, it worked all the time. We used it for 22 days for voice, text & data. I also used it as hot spot for my other phone to connect to Internet. Overall, I buy it again and I hope that they keep the product this way.

Didn't work for me. Buy them over here instead.
Did not work for me. My phone had great signal, but said "network locked" and no data was moving. I emailed orange and they did reply within 24 hours but asked for my orange order number. As soon as I said I bought it here I never heard from them again.Look, if you're reading this, I get it. You'd like to have this Sim thing settled before your trip. Me too. I spent like thirty bucks for some peace of mind. Instead I got a bunch of complication and limbo. I am writing this from France in April of 2025 and can say Sim cards are easy to find here. You literally have to walk past four places selling them to exit cdg. If your phone won't do an esim just buy one over here.Safe travels.

Worked great, see my comments for advice
I used this SIM card on a 12 day trip to southern Spain and Ireland. Here are some comments.About the service:- For reference, my phone is Android type.- Had very good service in the areas we were visiting. No complaints on service coverage.- Texting and phone calls worked seamlessly. I could not however, send photos or attachments via text.- I would suggest using a message service like WhatsApp to communicate with friends and family. Then you can send photos and talk as much as you want with the only limitation being your data limit. And of course, anything done on wifi won't count against your data.- 12G of data was plenty for a 2 week trip. I only used about 6G of data under moderately heavy use.About getting started:- The provided instructions are a bit confusing. I learned more from reading Amazon reviews.- Your phone MUST be the unlocked type to use this SIM service. Most major carriers lock your phone. Just another reason to get rid of your major carrier and buy your own unlocked phone.- Do not swap your SIM card until you get to Europe. Once you get to Europe, make sure your phone is turned off. Then swap your current SIM card with the new SIM card. You'll need to bring a pin to eject the old SIM (pin not provided with kit). Do the swap in a safe place, be very careful not to drop either SIM card. They are TINY!- Save your old SIM card in the pouch provided and do not lose it. You'll need to put it back in when you get home.- Turn phone back on. Once it's booted back up, go to settings > mobile network and turn mobile roaming on. In a minute or so you should have mobile service.- Under settings > mobile network you can select "data usage" anytime to check how much data you have used so far on your SIM card.- Orange will send you texts warning that you need to register. You can ignore this unless you plan on using the service for more than 14 days. I can't speak to the registration process because I did not do it.Overall, this SIM card worked great for me, I would definitely use it again next time I travel.
