There was nothing to dislike. The flag pole is very sturdy and the flag was well made and heavy duty. When installing the pole base into the ground do not use the plastic cap to protect the base during installation, that is not its purpose. Use a block of wood to protect the base while hammering it into the ground. Make sure it goes in vertically using a lever to get it started. Hammer the base until only about 1 inch protrudes above the soil. This will give you a very sturdy base that will not blow over. If you have placed the flag on your lawn, and you want to cut the grass, remove the pole and cover the base with the plastic cap. Your lawn mower will not hit the base so you can just cut right over it.

This pole is light and easy to assemble and disassemble and seems reasonably durable in moderate wind. The flag stays untwisted, which is it's best feature.

I needed a new flag and flagpole. This was reasonably priced and appeared well made. I was not impressed with the gound stake; too short to provide sufficient support, even if buried in a cement casing. I used a 3/4 " black gas pipe(available at Home Depot or Lowes), which I drove into the ground sufficiently to provide excellent support. I left several feet above ground and placed my 1" flagpole over the 3/4" pipe(fit like a glove). Much better support; my flag pole isn't going anywhere. And, the flag was very nice. Well made and good weight fabric. Deducted one star because of the short ground stake. In solid ground with a significant cement casing it might be okay.

Thanks to the reviewer who mentioned to NOT hammer base in directly, use a buffer. I live in in apartment complex, so the flag tilts away from the building. 2 reasons: One it allows the 3 flags (USA, POW, and Back the Blue) to display when there is no breeze. Two the base went in crooked as I drove it in the ground and I did not see it in time. When we had 40+ winds, the 3x5 flags really took a beating AND made a lot of noise. So pulling it out of the base to get inside was easy, putting it back was as easy. I ordered a solar light for the top separately. With 3 flags I should get smaller flags, but a 2x3 seem to not be in existance.

Poles and stake are junk, they both bent easy on installation. Would not buy again, I don't think the flag pole will last first high wind

The part of the Pole you Bang into the ground, bent with the hammer. And we had 2 very windy days, and it blew the Pole right over. It said 10 feet flagpole, but it doesn't look like it's 10 feet at all.

The flag is nicely made with embroidered stars. It was easy to put together and is a great addition to our firepit area. Definitely recommend.

I have been searching for a 10ft flag pole and found this one. I had a flag so just ordered the pole. If you need a flag order one that comes with the pole. Works great and made me proud on the 4th of July.
