I was on the fence about buying this, I purchased for around $31 and now there's a price increase listed at $39. It's a high ticket price for wrist strap but the style is soo cute and girly. I think it's worth it if you can afford it. You're likely paying extra because it's Kate Spade, but I'm just a fan of anything cute. :3 The plastic tab is holding up well so far (a month later); I got a few extra replacements because those are known to break easily over time. Honestly, I was worried about getting annoyed of a phone strap, but this has a thoughtfully curated design. The base of the hook attachment feels solid, and the metal links allow the cord to freely drape and move so it's not unruly. The pearls are gorgeous and pearlescent, and I appreciate that they're tapered so they're not as bulky, especially when storing in a bag. The durability feels pretty solid, but it depends how rough with your phone you are. If you let the phone freely swing, it's more likely to cause damage over time due to the thin metal hinges and plastic tab to insert underneath the phone. Also, because metal is stiff and doesn't have any "give", I can see this being susceptible to a high-impact, sudden "drop" movement. I haven't had this happen much, but I do gently set and then let my phone hang, and pull it up from a surface with the cord. Lastly, the plastic tab underneath does cause my phone to slliiightly bulge at the bottom. It's only in the center, not too noticeable, and is also a consequence of my case's design/the fact that the glitter is an additional cutout layer underneath too. It doesn't bother me that much, but it can conflict with certain cords brands if they're not manufactured to have a thinner clearance for the charging end. (So far I've noticed Apple brand has had the best/thinnest clearance.)Pros:-Cute, dainty style-Good quality (looks expensive lol)-Good design:-Ergonomic: rounded pearls, not clunky in pocket/purse-Lightweight, but still has a nice weighted drape so it's not as flimsy and unruly.Cons:-Expensive-Possible durability issues: more likely to break with a sudden, high impact "jerk" movement, thin metal links may snap over time due to friction-May have issues with certain cases pushing on insertion tab and blocking the charging port (also depends on charging port end, as well)

I’ve had this on my iPhone 14 Pro Max for several months and it is amazing! Easy to install, durable and looks amazing with a clear case + silver glitter sheet on the back of the phone. Has prevented drops multiple times. I LOVE Kate Spade. I have multiple handbags, wallets, backpacks, and jewelry. This is a perfect and beautiful addition to my phone

Very cute but also functional. When I’m walking around I keep this around my wrist so if my phone slips out of my hand, it doesn’t hit the ground.

Such a cute chain. I've had this for multiple months and it has held up really well. I've lost one jewel off of it so far, but that is to be expected with how often I am tugging and touching this chair.

It’s beautiful. Love it. But one of the beads fell off after 3 days. Don’t know when it happened. Not worth the price.

3.5 stars! This is absolutely gorgeous in real life. Like most things, the pictures can’t do justice to the real life dazzle. However. Is this worth $40?! I don’t think so — just because of the quality of the chain! I can see this breaking VERY easily. The chain is even daintier than I could have imagined! The Kate spade decal is nicer quality than the chain haha but I will probably still keep it. I love having my phone attached to my wrist for more security and you look fabulous with this. It’s like another piece of jewelry!

I love my phone charm! It is easy to use, and just the right weight. It’s still easy to charge my phone and best of all it is adorable!!
