So first of all it came well packed with all parts in the box. Main unit is already assembled but what you need to do is put together the mounting shaft ( part that connects to the fan and the ceiling, you can have it short or long) Instructions are weird but it's not that difficult. When you finally get it on the ceiling , it sits there pretty tight. Remote control is very, very simple. 3 speed from low, medium and high for the fan. On and off button for the lights and some sort of delay function AND one button for forward and reverse fan spin.On low settings, fan is very effective although I don't see that much difference on medium or high speed. Noise is also very similar - about 40-42 decibels on medium and high speed and 36-40 on low speed. Lights are working fine although I put only 4 lightbulbs ( all different - didn't have any other for now) - still pretty bright. Unit it self is pretty heavy so you need good mounting points. Screw's are in the box if you don't have any on the spot. Other than that unit is in nice colour,well made. It's certainly very convenient to have fan from the ceiling.

This is a nice quality lamp, and it looks great in my living room. The fan has really come in handy during the summer as my living room tends to get very hot and humid so it has made a massive difference in comfort levels there. It was easy enough to install, we watched the video a couple of times beforehand and it was pretty straightforward. I was concerned about noise as I saw some previous reviews mentioning that it was loud, but I don’t think it’s too noisy. Any fan is going to make some sound and it’s definitely quieter than the floor and desk fans we were using previously. We mounted the remote beside the light switch on the wall so it’s easy to access and alter lights or fan speed if needed. Very happy with this.

Brilliant light. And the fan is amazing. Even on lowest setting, creates a nice breeze on a hot day.

Super easy to install (which is rare), and the controls are fairly straightforward. The reversible setting sounds clever, and I’m holding out hope it’ll earn its keep come winter.But honestly… in the heat of summer, this beauty’s more fashion than function. Unless you’re sat directly under it, you’re still going to be sweating and swearing into your pillow. Stylish? Yes. A heatwave hero? Not quite.Perfect if you want a breeze and a vibe. Just don’t sack your floor fan just yet.

The media could not be loaded. This fan light is perfect for our living room, which can get very hot especially in the evening. The rustic design fits perfectly with the room and the remote is super handy. The fact the light came assembled is also of an extra benefit as it sped up the easy installation process. The 6 bulbs also adds convenience as we don’t need to put both lights on to see properly. The fan is nice and quiet, and creates a really good breeze even on its lowest setting. (The video shows the fan on full). Would definitely recommend.

This is a great ceiling light with an "old-fashioned" style. The remote is basic in function, with no dimming facility, but low, medium, and high fan speed (the high speed provides a lot of downdraught) that is exceptionally quiet. Six bulbs give plenty of light. It has two height options, but the short is probably the best.The only downside is that it is tricky to install, being fiddly when assembling, but once fitted it looks great.

This was perfect in the summer to keep the bedroom cool in the hot humid nights. Only need it on the slow speed. It's surprisingly quiet.cant wait to to try in reverse in winter for the circulation of warm air. I love the style of the light as can be used in any room
