Simple, sturdy, and has thumb guard
Carpet blades are notoriously dangerous, but this handle is about as safe as any I've seen. Good grip, push button open thats flush and stiff enough that you probably wont open it accidentally. Also has rubber o rings and a metal catch to keep the extra blades in if you do open it upside down. The thumb guard is great for giving a little extra push without risking getting cut if you slip (although if you need to push, you probably should just switch blades). Price is worth it for the quality.

Nicest cutting utility knife I’ve ever used. Careful keep legs, get, and other hand free when cutting. Blade is open on both sides as it should be for a carpet knife. Very sharp. 5 plus stars.

Worthless junk
Needlesly complicated to load. A simple razor knife is a MUCH better choice. Waste of money. Parts did not align with blade installed. I would never mess with such a tool on the job.If there was a rating below one star I'd give it.
