Strong enough
Decent, strong olde English bulldog so generally don't use these type of leads but it done the trick for a beach trip where we wanted him to have some freedom

Was a great retractable leash
The eye where the cable/cord comes out of retractable leash gun wears a tight gouge that starts to cut into the cord as it will eventually snap which could be crossing the road or holding back when excited to see other dogs ,,!! Jazz my Golden Retriver is strong that i do expect a quality leash !! The only problem is the cord eye that wears into a cut then you can see the wear on the cord!!! A metal eyelet would solve this problem ,,!! Now to look for a better made extra long Retractable Leash,,,, Sorry for bad review but our dogs are our World,if a leash fails it could be catastrophic to the dog and owners,,,

Wear and tear after 4 months
Brought in October 2024 for our cocker spaniel, her weight then was 7.5kgs now 8kgs with a slim build but she was a strong puller so we wanted a substantial clasp so went with a lead for a heavier dog.The mechanism inside seems a little more clunky than another brand we bought from a nationwide pet store (5 metre tape line for her weight ranges) but overall we were happy as we couldn’t get the lead length in store (wanted 10m).Come to Feb 2025 and we’ve noticed the wear and tear where the cord enters and exits the main housing. Our dog likes to run on the long line so the wear and tear pictured is the friction burns gradually wearing the plastic away. We’ve never noticed the smell of burning plastic on walks!! Not sure this would have happened with a tape line.Wont moan though for the price we paid versus alternatives.

Study lead
Good length for dogs to have a run when can't be trusted off lead.Sturdy handle and lead with part reflective strip. Not heavy to carry about, easy mechanism.
