Given its relatively low cost, I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality, good looks, and ease of assembly of this standing gun rack. The walnut is very attractive. The assembly instructions are clear and easy to follow. The pre-drilled screw holes align perfectly. This is surprising because the cost is the same or less than that for used upright gunracks being sold on Facebook marketplace. I could do 95 percent of the assembly by myself. I had my wife help me align a few pieces that took three hands to put together. The product comes with a good amount of spare screws.In addition to following the enclosed instructions, I used a very light coating of wood glue to strengthen the top rack portion and to further secure the knob for the shelf door. In addition to using the embedded staples, I used two small C clamps to glue the shelf door backstop in place. I used a hammer and a large screw to start the holes for the unmarked hinge screws for the shelf door.I enjoyed assembling this rack because the instructions were so clear and the pieces fit together so well.This gun rack exceeded my expectations and is well worth the money.

This is absolutely the worst thing you can buy. Please do not waste your money on this garbage does not give you detailed instructions for one. The wood is really cheap. Will not fit most shotguns nor long rifles. Would like to return product, but I already assembled will be throwing out when I get a new rack. Waste of money and waste of time.

I get to be the first reviewer! Ok I’ll tell it as it is.I ordered 2 of these for my gun room.The GOOD:Fairly easy to put together. They were very cheap in price. This will do what they are intended to do.The BAD:These are pretty cheap. They are just Bailey stained and actually look almost unfinished. Zero gloss . Super lightweight wood was used to build these, super light wood! They look cheap because of the finish. I ordered the walnut not near the color shown. I disappointed in what I received. Rather than just sending them back I put one together just to see what it would look like. They both were shipped in the same box. I really do wish I had just closed the box back up and bought a better set.Here’s the conundrum, I now have two of these that at least match but since I’ve taken them out of the box and built one I’m kinda stuck with these. I need two more to display my rifles properly like I want. Do I order two more and just stain them my self and add felt to help protect any wear on my rifles and live with it or call it a lose and start over? I may post pictures after I build this second one and put them in my room with rifles in them,I can’t recommend this but they will if you’re on a budget. So I really wanted to like these a lot but unfortunately I just don’t.Good luck and I may post pics in a couple ofdays.Last update: I’m not including pictures! I finished building the second one minus the hinges that weren’t included and placed them in my gun room. I placed the first rifle and to my surprise it does not fit!! Apparently nothing with a scope fits. I tried several different rifles and all I can get to fit are the guns without scopes. In the actual picture that is used to advertise this product you can clearly see a scoped rifle! I’ve decided these are absolutely junk and u would stay far away from any of their products!!!

Easy to put together

While this is the size I kind of needed (I would rather not have the bottom storage and just have more height) it's cheap enough and good enough to cover my needs until I can make something better.The main issue here, and why this is not 5 stars, is because the assembly instructions aren't just bad they are incorrect. The instructions show holes where none exist and don't show slotted pieces at all.Let me give a quick tip on step 1. Don't do it at all. Instead, for step 1 use 1 of the risers/side pieces and screw the top 2 pieces to one side, then another side. Once they are screwed in securely to the side pieces you can screw the two top pieces together and they will be perfectly lined up to accept the screws. If you do what the instructions suggest on step 1 you will need more tools, possibly angle clamps, to keep everything lined up correctly. Do it my way and you need nothing more than a screwdriver.Good luck.

Not suitable for shotguns. The height to the barrel cutouts isn’t enough. The forend falls there and is too wide for the slots. Also the inlets for the stock to sort in is too small leanth wise for 4 of my 6 guns. It needs to be taller. Also came damaged. A pice wa broken off and not in box. That means it was damaged prior to packing.

Get instructions took 15 minutes to put together- did take 2 people (1 to hold) Bought the walnut and the color was darker than pictured but still nice. Will be using for my black powder rifles and shotguns.

the shelf that goes inside the underneath area of the rack had the holes drilled incorrectly, so it is crooked. would not recommend unless the quality control is better.
