Lasted less than a year. In approx 5 months it started giving connection problems while randomly using it, the display will disconnect and connect every 10 minutes or so, extremely annoying and extremely dissatisfied. Yeah sure when it doesn't do it, it is a fantastic product, many usb ports, a god ethernet port too. I keep using it as a usb hub and it has been almost a year but the important part which is the docking hdmi is having problems and it doesn't feel good.EDIT: After doing my initial 1 star review I got a message from support where they address my issue and even get a replacement unit. Honestly I didn't expect any of that, so they were better than expected. Thanks again for everything.

This thing is awesome! The build quality is amazing and it works great. I bought it for my RoG Ally and now I don't use my RoG without it. I was looking at some options in stores that cost around $100, this cost half as much and works just as good. Definitely recommend this if you need a dock.

Great product works great so far hooked it up to my 17" portable monitor. Im happy I finally got a docking station for my rog ally x. I did experience lag between my wireless key board and mouse. So I connected it directly to my ROG instead of the back of the docking station. Idk if that just to much communication demand between charging and everything to expect instant response time from my keyboard and mouse while gaming.

I got this dock not for a pc handheld device but as the USB-C to HDMI conversion function for my Macbook Pro M1.Macbook M1's are software limited by Apple to only 60hz when using standard USB-C to HDMI cable because it uses the HDMI protocol. If you use the USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 then it can output up to 4k 120hz. However, I'm hooking this macbook up to an HDTV which only has HDMI but the TV can support 144hz.When I saw this dock, I decided to give it a try and to my utter most surprise, it is able to push 144hz! All the movement is now buttery smooth!Note that the USB-A ports only support 5gbps so it could be slow if you are using this for file transfer. If attaching peripherals then there is no problem. And the 100W PD pass through is perfect for the mac as well.This dock was much cheaper than a dedicated Mac Hub and most of them don't even dare to claim 4k 120hz let alone 144hz.

I do what the video says, but Im stuck at “Checking connection” I connected it to the rog ally X Lightning symbol, and then the original charger to the dock port, but nothing happens… pls help!!

Broken less than a year later. I'll edit my review if the support team is helpful.Edit: great customer service! They sent me a new dock and it arrived earlier than expected.

Works perfectly with the rog ally. Charging and able to plug ethernet cable for a more stable connection

This dock works exactly as described. My steam deck and switch have both been used in it so far with no issues. I mainly got it for the stream deck and for a game that normally drains the battery in just 2 hours. The power this dock provides keeps up with the drain and more. I can use any usb controller and both my devices have usb-c chargers, so the lack of a power cord for the dock isn't as much of an issue as I thought it would be. I can hook it up to my TV or PC which allows me to play games through the steam deck that the computer just can't handle. So far, I'm in love. I'll change this if I find any issues, but I don't anticipate any.
