Awesome book
It was so sweet and their relationship was full of love and their actions showed it. Good sex scenes (breastplay!) too.

Nice story
Although I skipped a lot of the bedroom stuff, I was more interested in the story line. Anna has a touch sensitive problem, it's a rare disease I do believe. The story was interesting, full of the Mafia type books you love guns, revenge & love. The one thing I didn't like was making Anna sound like a child throughout the story. Yes I know she had problems that had to be explained, but in no way was she a child. A grown woman who found love & her person in Cian her boss, husband, safety, protector. Definitely educating about Anna. I gave a 3 only because I wasn't fond of her sounding like a child. She was better than that. Read my peeps, you'll enjoy this story.

Best of both worlds
This book was the best of both Mafia and romance. Strange as it may be but I like reading romance novels when the male leading character is a psychopath / sociopath. It always makes the story more interesting. Especially if he is a hot alpha. This story was perfect. The female lead character was different and interesting. She was not a push over. Knew what she wanted and didn't let anyone change her mind. Truly enjoyed this book. Looking forward to the next in the series.

meh
It started good but the whole plot about the mafia takes more pages than the love story itself. So I had to skeep several pages to get to the dialogues and encounters between the Heroe and Heroine.Anna seems coherent but the author relies too much making her look lost in her world and instead of allowing the reader to perceive her as vein around the autistic spectrum and all her conditions, she missed so points making her look dumb. Terrible.Cian es a good heroe, but I couldn’t get sympathy for him at all.Monroe’s book are nice, but she says Cora Riley, Geissinger and other mafia-styled/gray-moral-hero authors, are her inspiration; she tried to capture the essence of those author’s writing, she just can’t. Monroe’s style lacks a catching edge I wish I find because she tries to do a good job. At some point maybe her voice is just not made for this kind of books.3 stars ⭐️.

Patience
I started this book twice before but put it down without getting past the first four chapters. Preserve, dear reader, it is a great read. Exciting and insightful .

So different, and I loved it- not your typical mafia trope
The author starts with a statement about how autism is as diverse as those that have it, that there is no one right way to be autistic. The way she wrote the FMC had me engrossed in the story from the beginning because you can tell these are real situations people struggle with. The story is interesting and feels real, not a comedy of errors to entertain but the struggle of a person to live in our society (the spice is nice too!). She also briefly mentions how the family (her parents) and friends can struggle to understand but accept the person, and those that refuse to acknowledge the struggles and think the person is attention seeking (FMC extended family). And the awesome thing is these are small parts of the story that help you understand the FMCs struggles while growing, and I haven't touched on the crazy that is the MMC! I have listened to the audio book at least 3x by now and see myself gravitating to it regularly. Highly recommend!!

Cian and Anna
This a good book with high intensity obsessive e romance on both parts. Both have neurodivergent tendencies that miraculously are quieted by only the other person.

Loved it
Anna has autism and things work differently for her she doesn’t like a lot of noise; crowds and she’s hoping that this job interview will finally put her somewhere that she can cope. At the interview foyer she’s struggling everything is too much, until a man walks in the room, and everything is quieter.Cain knows he can’t love, he can’t feel, when he sees the woman in the interview room something about her gives him the smallest feeling. They always leave he’s too much for women too demanding, needing to know where they are at all times and this woman, he knows he will consume her with needing to know and have eyes on her at all times.Cain doesn’t do anything different but his calmer with Anna around, Anna can’t believe that Cain makes things quiet, he’s different she can give him eye contact, touch him and it doesn’t bother her. What Cain is most surprised about is, the camera’s the trackers that he needs, Anna supports it helps calm her, and Anna can calm Cain with just a smile. They might not work with anyone else, but they do work together.
