For the price this is good value. It doesn't need wired so offers a quick solution to basic data capture.

Awful product and awful customer service. The counter has never worked properly- this is the second unit we have received, the first returned as it didnt work at all. We have had communication with the seller since purchase about issues, they would give an instructions to fix it after a week or so, the instructions dont work, and back to waiting for a response. I have asked for a full refund as they can see we have never had an operational device but no response. We have lost out on a whole year worth of data at this point

My first impressions upon opening the box was that these counters are very cheaply made. I struggled to follow the instructions to set the date/time but fitting them was simple enough and they work to count one way (so people entering are not double counted when they leave). You need to make sure you install them with the correct orientation or you will be counting leavers rather than arrivals.My next disappointment is with the data. It is very basic and is downloaded as a CSV file - so unless you are reasonably competent with excel, you may wonder what the jumble of figures is - which does rely on you having date and time correctly set on the unit.If you are OK on excel then you will be able to graph up the data.Overall, it does what it says but I do feel a little underwhelmed by it. I expected more for nearly £200

Great quality counter - build qaulity is excellent. Great battery life and works very well. Simple and effective - highly recommended.

CONS-not as accurate as I expected it to be, for such an expensive product-no manual-I’d prefer a built-in battery that can be recharged in the units, to the removable batteries it does run on (which are not included, odd in such an expensive product)-plasticky (not a great build)-it’s not supposed to count a wave of the hand, but it does-unexpectedly pricey, given what you’re gettingPROS-unobtrusive-quite smallNOTES-I want to use the “every second pass” mode, so I can get an accurate count of people coming in and out of the space (which has only one entrance/exit), but I couldn’t work out how to activate this mode (it counts every person’s passage, in both directions)MY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros
