certainly not 18lb breaking strain.
Really disappointed with this line. Have used Trilene for years and never had a problem...........until thisI recently bought a spool of 18lb , 17lb was delivered (neither here not there for the difference of 1lb). I have broken off so many times with this line mid cast. I have no idea what the issue actually is, but for some reason this line just keeps letting go. It is not at the shock leader and it's not when under strain of reeling in.Totally disappointed. Will despool and purchase something else to replace. Wasted ££, wasted time, very disappointing.

Fishing line
The fishing line looks great but i haven’t used it yet . The Angling-Center was very responsive to my question. The delivery from Royal Mail was not the best.
