This Zecto 400 is ace!
Great delivery of product from Amazon. This Zecto is insane! The 400 lumen i would only feel safe using on a freeway lol, definitely a dazzler. I like the switch between the two night modes (femto and economy), blast and pulse I don’t see a need for.. flash 1 is probably going to be my go to for daytime riding. This clip is nice as well and usb c. I believe in carrying two lights for the just in case scenario and lezyne imo always makes great lights.EDIT: my favorite modes are Economy for solo pre-sunrise/night riding and Day flash too. I thought it would bother my buddies’ eyes but it does not. The clip isn’t “great” for a jersey pocket clip as the light points up rather than behind you. Looks great on the seatpost. The button is a little tricky to push, not a dealbreaker but yeah. I recommend this for the battery times, light modes and lezyne’s name in lights!

Gersh darn this is brighter than all get-out
I wanted a bright rear light...holy guacamole!. It actually projects a spot of red light onto distant surfaces--I've never seen a rear light do that before. I actually use it on the middle setting because I'm worried that the max setting will damage the eyes of drivers behind me, and cause them to careen blindly into the back of my bike. The attachment mechanism is super cleverly designed, and works great both for mounting to a seat post or to a random tube. I'm actually mounting it to the back of a Yepp seat, and it's not ideal for that because there's no angle adjustment and the beam is fairly narrow so you have to get the angle right. So I'll be experimenting with wedging things under it, to get exactly the right angle.I've owned several Lezyne lights and they've all been top performers--great beam patterns, plenty of modes, easy to use, durable.

Bright
The 400 lumen is bright. Love Lezyne quality. Mounts easily and securely in the mesh of my rear basket/rack. I use the bright-flash in daylight, steady-bright mode at night.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for our daughter
2 1/2 months later, the micro-switch has apparently failed and the product return window has expired. Sometimes it will just change modes or turn off by itself. There is no consistent way to either change modes or turn it off. The build quality is robust, it seems well made and the light is very bright and up until now, our daughter liked it just fine. Perhaps, this is just a bad unit and am waiting on a manufacturers response. On edit, the manufacturer sent a replacement unit within a week through a no-hassle return process, and because of this, the build quality and the brightness of the light I am adjusting the review from 2 to 4 stars. Hopefully, the replacement will work as intended and with no problems, in which case it really should be 4-5 stars.

You WILL BE NOTICED br car drivers: BLINDING!
Have you ever driven your car on a sunny day where one particular road bike you passed REALLY stood out because of his/her VERY BRIGHT tail light??? You will be that biker if you use the Lezyne Zecto Max Drive Rear 250 Lumen. Make sure you get the MAX 250 model and not the lower power one. The MAX 250 is more than three times brighter. It’s an extra $15 but well worth it. The light is literally BLINDING. I am already a little squeamish about riding on the road with cars (sizable peloton helps) so I really appreciate the extra safety this light delivers. With a full charge the brightest setting lasts a whopping 9 hours (according to mfr) which is more than twice as long as I’ll ever need. Great light. If safety is your most important concern this light is very highly recommended. Nine different modes from normal to whacky flash pattern to eye piercing.

he says that this little light is super bright even on full sunny days
I have a few different bike lights but this one has become my go to light. I mainly ride daytime with this light set on day flash and the battery lasts for long several hr rides with no problem. Ride with my 42 year old son and when he falls behind me on the trail, he says that this little light is super bright even on full sunny days. It has a clip on the back of it and that is how I mount it to my necessities bag underneath my saddle. It has I think 8 different modes, some flashing and the rest different levels of steady on. I use it on day flash exclusively for the battery longevity. More than doubles the steady on runtime. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072NXX76P/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_38.

Bright. Very bright with good battery life.
The brighter settings grabs attention in bright daylight. Just what I bought it for. So far have had it on for 6 straight hours on daylight settings and battery does fine. Neighbor drove past me on a sunny day and wanted to let me know he thought it was too bright. Great! I want it to immediately grab a drivers attention. If annoyed comes with immediate attention, I’m all for it. My little red light is competing with cell phones and unruly kids for drivers attention and I want a “WTF is that!?”moment for them. This light does that
