Quality toy sword
My son has really enjoyed playing with this toy, he has a collection of toy swords now, with acouple from this same brand. They stand up well to a bit of abuse and lots of sword fights with my son.The foam is quite firm to keep its shape but soft enough to not hurt when you get hit on the knuckles.Cool curvy design that my son really likes, this is one of his favourite swords now

Foam sword with flexible end; a little overpriced
This is an attractively made, fairly short-length foam sword. The sword is printed with a detailed design to the hilt, and interesting colour to the blade. The sword is made up of layers of sandwiched foam – with the exception of the tip, where there is just a single (albeit thick) layer of white foam. This means that around 3cm at the tip doesn’t have quite the same thickness and rigidity to it as the rest of the ‘blade’ – it’s softer, a little flexible, and bends from side to side. My 8 year old nephew is something of a connoisseur of toy swords (he went through a phase where that was pretty much the only type of toy he required) and has pronounced this one pretty good. For me, at a whisker below £10 at time of writing, the price point seems a little bit high.

Fun, but too pricey
Nice design and colours. The foam is of good quality, similar to those used for swimming boards, with five layers. Looks reasonably robust. My kid had fun playing it with his friends. But at £10 I think this is overpriced. (Then I looked at other similar items and some of them are quite outrageous.)

Good
Good quality foam sword. Its quite solid so in the hands of very little ones could cause some hurt via the pointy end I guess, so just keep an eye on your kids playing, set some boundaries etc.Well made, nice detailing and the other ones we have form the brand have lasted well

Terrible quality
This is the third Liontouch sword that I’ve got for my son and it’s undoubtedly the worst. It arrived on the 1st of November and has come apart within 4 days. He’s barely played with it in that time which makes this even more disappointing, especially for the price paid.

Lovely thick quality !
This sword is fantastic quality. It’s durable and sturdy ready for battle. We have the shield too and makes for great role play. Would recommend!

Fun sword
This review is for the Liontouch 71000LT Dragon Catcher Foam Toy Sword For Kids | Fantasy Pretend Play For Children. This sword is made from soft EVA foam. It has got 5 layers to it and they are multicoloured. It is an attractive sword for all ages of children and adults. It is fairly short in length and the handle is very easy to hold for younger children. My son has really enjoyed playing with this sword, it is very flexible, so hard hitting is not possible but also durable, as it has lasted him longer than other foam swords. I do believe the price is a little high for a foam sword, but my kids have enjoyed it. It would be good as a kids toy or used for a fancy dress prop.

Great fun sword
My son absolutely loves this sword my cats not so much it's a great size not to heavy and good quality. It's made up of layers of a compressed thick foam/sponge it is possible to break.something with it like all toy swords but if played with proply all will be fine. It won't hurt anyone when playing proply and it wouldn't break easily.Fun design on it to look like a sword
