DTTO for Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra / S9 Ultra / S8 Ultra Case 2024/2023/2022, Premium Leather Business Folio Stand Cover with S Pen Holder for 14.6 Inch Tablet, Auto Wake/Sleep, Black

This case is actually fantastic for how cheap it is, I am returning it though, because in the end I need a case that allows the Samsung notepaper cover to be used with ease because I use the tablet to draw a lot. So I am using the smart book cover quite reluctantly instead. Since this case has a mold that covers all sides of the tablet, I can't do that, and it's a tight fit so constantly removing and reinserting the tablet will loosen it's hold over time. And just to save some people time, I can confirm that no case available right now can satisfy all needs one might have, you just need pick what's best for you, something about all of them will annoy you. I can say if you do not draw, and are fine taking notes on a glass screen or you are okay with permanent matte screen protector, an are okay with the slightly raised edges around the screen, this is probably the best case for the value you can get. I have two problems with it though not related to drawing. The pen slot on the back is unusable, you will have to cut the strap, stretching it just doesn't work I had a previous case with the same issue, same material for my tab S7+ just trust me on this one, this case is actually worse than my previous one in that regard, but that's not a big issue since it has another loss preventative pen slot underneath the screen. But still not ideal. The second problem is that it's made of leather, or fake leather. The material is not waterproof, I've not tested it since I am returning it, but since the tablet can be used regardless of water, the case not being the same defeats the point. I mean seriously you can use the tablet while taking a bath and fulfill the dream of having a TV in the bathroom without paying to remodel your bathroom, a plunge or two is probably okay, but if you want to use it while showering, it'll probably ruin the case.These are the only down sides I can see for people having with the case, but every other case has bigger issues, mainly related to magnets messing with the pen. I bought this case for lack of magnets, their are surprisingly few available, which shows case manufacturers were quite lazy when it came to knowing anything about Samsung tablets, however, I was surprised to find this case has two very small weak magents that I honestly had to test to see if they were working, they were. They are very weak and above the screen so they don't affect the spen per my tests. And when on the go, you will likely still use the strap to keep the cover secure when in something like a back pack.I am also unsure of how protective it is, it's certainly doesn't look like an otterbox or mouse case, but it should protect it from minor drops, but the thing is, this tablet's size is comparable to laptops, I have never dropped a laptop since I was a little kid, if you won't drop a laptop, you won't drop this, so protection doesn't matter to me. If you are thinking of using this tablet like an iPad at work constantly walking around, this tablet is not for you much less the case, it's big and heavy.I would recommend this case for anyone who does not plan on using the note paper or keyboard (bleh) attachments and do not plan on using the tablet near water often. So for the vast majority of people this is the best case you can get. It just doesn't fulfill my artist needs. Which is a deal breaker for me.

S-pen snug and accessible. I find the volume-button covers awkward and stiff. Instead of getting accustomed, I installed a floating on-screen _volume controller_ widget, and also a screenshot app that puts a tile in the pull-down notifications for when the hand-gesture method of screenshot is awkward.The camera, flash, ports, power-button and speakers are well exposed by cut-outs. The slot below the screen is _perfect_ for securing the original Staedtler Norris Digital Pencil that feels balanced like a real wood pencil for drawing.The slot-impressions allow two angles of view when set on a surface. The unobtrusive hand-strap feels well-considered for comfort and balance. A folio slot on the outside keeps sheets of paper, envelopes or the like handy.The strap easily secures the front-flap closed. Looks and feels like quality. However, I don't expect it to serve well over time if I must extract the tablet from the case often, for placing it instead into a gooseneck holder for watching movies. The plastic casing could become loose and less-reliable. Enjoyable product.

Absolutely amazing. Beautiful quality, nice study feel. I bought a cheaper, thinner case and the edges on that one felt like it was going to cut my fingers and the feel made it to be an unpleasant experience. I love this case. Then a surprise came. It has an opening on the back where the S pen is put to charge. Putting it there charges the pen, but it's sure to fall off with most cases. Not this one. I just happened to look closer and the design is like a pocket to slide the S pen into to hold it in place. That, to me, deserves another star 🌟. Great job. Excellent! I truly recommend it. I had a quite a struggle finding a third party case for my Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. I was just simply looking for a one that:1) fit properly2) had ability to set tablet at multiple angles when placed in landscape and STAY stable at those angles3) didn't have magnets within the case that would interfere with the tablets operation (see below for explaination)4) not too bulkyAfter spending more time than I'd like to admit hopelessly searching, I found this and decided to get this a try as it seemed to fit the build. Once I got my tablet in, I was throughly impressed by the quality & fit. I actually was not looking looking to get a faux leather style case again (I've had similar ones to this in the past my old IPad Pros), but this one ended up being solid enough and the overall profile is thin enough for my liking. I also think it seems protect the tablet very well (this wasn't my primary reason for buying a cover, surpringly - I just wanted a cover to that could prop the tablet up at multiple angles).The different indents in the case allow it to be set at two different angles. But, what I found is that I'm able to move the tablet back further than the indents which means the tablet can be set an even more than two angles. I think the main reason this works out is because of the combination of the Tab S9 Ultra weight, which adds more pressure to keep it in place at more upright angle, and the material used inside the case (non-slippery). It's effective for me, as the tablet never slipped for me while using it on my lap (where I'm currently typing thius review) or in bed. This is important to note because I saw other reviews for cases with multi-angle options mentioning that the tablet would slip/fall and it wasn't stable.In other reviews for other cases (including one of most popular ones at the time of writing this), other companies were being lazy and advertising the tablet case as compatible with both S9 Ultra/S8 Ultra, which is clearly wrong the cameras are at a slightly different position. The fit for this case was perfect (very tight and takes some effort to install, but fit perfect).I also read how issues with some other third party cases have magnets that end up interfering and in rare cases, potentially damaging the abilty of the S-Pen to interact the screen. So far with this case, I haven't encountered in sort of issue like that.Now I have one pretty annoying flaw with this case...The "protective" pouch area is way too tight to stick an S Pen into because it's extremely diifficult to remove once it's in there. Like there's just no way that the manfacturers of this case actually tested this in practice as it's very impractical for consistent removal and placement of the S-Pen. Fortunately, Samsung used strong enough magnets so you can still put on the S-Pen top of fabric and the magnitization will be still strong enough to hold it in place and still charge the S-Pen.Overall, I'm way more impressed with this case than I thought I would be and highly recommend this to people if you are looking for the qualities that I was. The S-Pen pouch issue was annoying enough for me to remove a star. If they just removed it, then it would be a 5 star for me.
