LOVE LOVE THE HONEST KITCHEN🥰
Found out about honest kitchen from my coworkers that are dog nutritionists (I’m a behaviorist.) My dog has been eating this food for almost two years, I swear by this brand, I recommend it to everyone as most don’t know how horrible 98% of dog and cat food is. This is a rare brand who is genuine and cares about your animal! It’s amazingly healthy and actually balanced diet. My dog used to have horrible stomach issues almost everyday to healthy poops and no more tummy grumbles immediately after switching foods. I also LOVE their superfood wet food my dog eats the spinach and chicken a lot :) I recommend checking out their other products!

Great & Honest Brand :)
So far, it's been really great! My dog is picky so it's nice to find a brand she'll eat right up! I mix it with some rice since the bags I ordered are the small 1lb bags, but I love that I can read all the ingredients on the package and know what they all are so I can mostly understand what I'm feeding my pup! Great and honest brand, definitely buying again for my dog - I'm including a picture of the ingredients since there was none in the previews of the product!

The last kibble standing
Still the only kibbles I buy but it has to be supplemented with a a table spoon of chicken and vegetable stew or my picky dog would have picked out the uncoated kibbles for rejects.

Pricey,Poor Packaging,Perfect Recipe!
My mini rat terrier likes the taste of this food but she gained a little weight b/c pieces are like fragile tiny cookies and that should have been considered in how it is packaged- only super hard regular dog food can withstand typical shipping, stocking, etc- All the powdered food is hard to measure (I mix it with water and serve immediately- more than a minute sitting it becomes unpalatable for her) I fear if they adjust packaging it will cost even more , however, and keeping my mostly white dog from looking “pink” from allergies to pea protein, tomato pumice, etc that are in other top of the line dog foods will be super expensive (it’s already just plain expensive). My budget also depends on Prime discounts and sales on this product! Every good review I leave is usually followed by a price hike- maybe that’s a coincidence/ maybe not- I must confess it took me so many brands to find one that did not need to be doctored- up for my dogs to eat-another downside is some bags smell more like oatmeal crackers and less like chicken so I am concerned about consistency in the recipe. My HairyPoppins (dog-daughter) makes me buy this food!

Good Food
After hearing all the recent reports of dogs dying after eating Purina, I decided to switch to The Honest Kitchen. It's probably the best commercial kibble you can get. It's cold pressed and slow baked at low temperatures in small batches. Most other kibbles are hot extruded (steamed at high temperatures) which strips them of nutrients and causes carcinogens to enter the food. Also, The Honest Kitchen sued the FDA in 2007 for the right to say they use human grade ingredients, and they won. They won because they only source food from places that provide food meant for humans. I also like the ingredients they use. No by-products, meals, fillers, etc. As far as the dog goes, he likes the food and is doing well on it. I understand kibble isn't the best food for a dog. You should definitely add some fresh food to it as much as you can, but this is the best kibble, if you're going to use kibble, as far as I'm concerned.Anyway, if you want to learn more about the horrors of the pet food industry watch PetFooled. It's right on Amazon Prime Video.

Not the right food for my dog, but seems quality food.
I had high hopes for this food, even though I prefer feeding raw or fresh. My dog is having digestion issues (excessive gas) so I have been trying to find a food to help relieve this. The ingredients looked good, except for the peas. The consistency is good, not as hard as normal kibble. She liked it, but she likes pretty much everything. This food didn’t help, and caused a large increase in stool volume. Back to fresh for us!

Dog food
Our Pup Loves this Stuff! She can not get enough, she is a small bread, with teeth that hurt and needs more soft food, this is it! the only proble we find with it, when shipped being its so soft some of it turns to dust, so you loose out on some of the food, the Pups still eat it, but its like powder everwhere.
