Q: Hello! This valve can be used for gravity-feed applications? i.e. 0 psi required behind, correct? Saw 0 psi in desc, wanted to doublecheck thanks!

Yes this valve can be installed in gravity feed applications, because I installed on gravity feed diesel tank, and it worked great. Just need to double check that valve has large enough orifice to supply needed flow with very low inlet pressure.

Q: can they be run continuoulsy or is over heating a problem? Also, normally closed means no fluid can flow through, right?

I run them on an agriculture sprayer. I have 50 rows of grapes and it takes me 2 minutes per row, so they are on for two minutes and then off for about 20 seconds while I make a turn and then back on for the next row. They do get hot, but they work. Yes normally closed is off, no flow.

Q: Could this be used for liquid co2 straight out of a co2 siphon cylinder?

Minimum operating temp is -14F so I'd say that's a hard NO

Q: is it okay to mount is sideways or upside down?

Mounting orientation should not matter for this device.
