Outstanding Divice for Home & Business
To begin with, I would like to start my review by going over packaging and product presentation; The switch comes in a well-presented box, with proper instruction on how do the plug and play work and what are the features and aspects. This product is functional right out of the box; there is not much to know about IT or hardware installing skills. The setup instructions are clear, and they stated that the divide is capable of working with PoE. In my particular case, I used for my security system at home and connected it to 4 PoI cameras al from different brands, and it works super. The package comes with the Port itself, and a power cord and that's is all that you need, I like the fact that it has four ports for you to use and uplink as the main entrance for your data. The Internet speed and the power supply are consistent throughout the network while using it, and it is a perfect and affordable option for your home or small business needs.Highly recommended!!!Overall Rating: 7.4Client Fiendly: 7 out of 10Connectibity: 8 out of 10Dimensions and Aesthetics: 9 out of 10Sytems and Features and Sooport: 9 out of 10Included Equipment: 4 out of 10

Works - priced right (updated)
I purchased this to use as a demo/instructional unit for IP cameras. 3 big positives - Compact, works well, priced right. I like that the networking port is on the rear as opposed to being next to the POE ports. Less chance of confusion/error. Sturdy metal case with rubber feet. I would recommend.UPDATE 2020: While I like the unit, I went to purchase another one and noticed the price increased 33% since the last time I bought it ($32 to $44). I also noticed a name-brand competitor offering a 5 port POE switch with Gigabit speeds for only a few dollars more. Sorry, but guess which one I picked....

Metal Case, nice features.
The switch was as simple as can be. It literally was plug it in, and it just works. There is a switch to go from Switch/VLAN/Extend. As I needed it for the Switch setting, it did it’s thing without any input from me. It is absolutely simple to use, which is exactly what you need in switch. There is a LED status indicator that shows the Status/Watts used. I did think initially it was a bit gimmicky, but it was actually helpful to know when the camera I had was powered on and fully active. The metal case feels solid and it comes with a plug so the only think you need to add is your device and you’re good to go.

Great POE switch
This switch is great. small enough to place out of the way, very sturdy metal housing.Worked flawlessly with my TP-Link router and some security cameras. Only issue I had wasthe labeling was hard to read, printed in white and small print. After several days in use the box did not get overly hot.I feel this is a great purchase and other brands can't beat the quality for the price.

Amcrest is a bad investment
Investing in Amcrest cameras was one of the worst purchases I've ever made. They have 2 apps and even they can't tell you which one to use. And if you got the doorbell they offer, you then have to get another separate app for that one. Their whole platform is not user friendly and is very disappointing. The camera quality seems just "ok" but you can get equivalent, for less money.I swapped my system to Reolink and couldn't be happier. Their app and platform is 100X more user friendly, has better push setting with snapshots and include many of the features that cost extra on Amcrest.

Sturdy compact POE device
I like the compact size. Its sturdy and metal housing looks of high quality.Operation wise it's perfect. Doesn't product any noise or heat.I tried connecting 4 POE devices, phones, router, camera etc. All the devices came up fine. Status monitor also shows correct values.
