The sheets are film wrapped and store well, laid flat. In use, their texture is even which enables precise cutting with a strong craft knife. Don't attempt to use ordinary scissors as they will either break or skid off these boards. I use repeated steady strokes with a heavy craft knife, guided by my steel safety ruler. The surface accepts lightly diluted PVA adhesive and is absorbent enough to make lamination with printed model kit papers a straightforward process. NB If you are making a larger piece, it is simpler to attach another piece of paper to the back of the board at the same time, or soon after, to prevent the board from being curled towards the kit paper side when using water based adhesives . Resultant constructions are sturdy,durable and attractive.

I bought two sets. One for my son who does models and painting and one for me for my acrylic painting and glues etc., they are non slip easy to wipe clean but it doesn’t matter if you don’t wipe them because you get four in the box.

Purchased for "download and print" OO scale model for my railway (print onto paper, glue the paper sheets onto various thickness cards as instructed (both 2mm and 1mm DJP A4 Greyboards used), cut-out when dry and assemble). Very happy with the card (and 3rd party kit) and the process, though I'm sure my modelling skills have room for improvement!
