This stuff is a miracle for me. I have severe allodynia and this is the only topical solution I have found thus far that actually works. For those who don’t know, allodynia is basically pain in/on your skin without a catalyst like a bruise or a burn. For me, at its worst, it feels like someone has poured boiling water over my skin and sandpapered it. Unpleasant to say the least.But this cream has helped a lot, especially if I can catch it early. The menthol cooling sensation helps a lot initially and the lidocaine actually does help numb the skin. It doesn’t take the pain away completely when it has progressed to a certain point, but even then it does provide some relief.The only thing with me is that I use it over a larger surface area than intended so I can only use it once or twice a day, with the times spread out farther (like early AM and then mid PM) instead of 3-4 times like it says on the tube.All in all, I think this is an excellent product with a pretty mild, inoffensive smell (I cannot tolerate the smell of bengay and this works much better anyway) and I recommend it to anyone who has pain in their joints or skin that hasn’t responded to other products yet.It has a very thin consistency so I can use the applicator to initially apply it to my back and then fairly easily spread it around myself. It also absorbs quickly. I only need to let it dry for a few minutes (usually 5 for me) and then it doesn’t rub off with clothes.

For me this actually works. I sprained my Achilles tendon and have a lump there that my shoes rub on and I used this before bed and though I cannot feel any warming effect whatsoever, it did alleviate pain. You need to allow it to dry on your skin before heading to bed though. Very lightly scented so pleasant.

This easy to apply and works quickly, I have bad knees this product reliefs pain quickly. Much better than patches. This is our reliable muscle pain relief product in our house

This stuff works so well! We’ve used Salonpas patched and roll on pain relievers and neither work as well as this. The warming feeling isn’t that bad, but does activate more if you move around a lot, get sweaty or are exposed to the heat, but it is bearable.

This stuff is great. Really works with aches on my neck after work, lower back. Wonderful

This worked great for my husband. However, when I googled drug interactions with topical lidocaine and medications he takes, including regular Tylenol, he had to quit using it. So, be sure to check interactions if you take other medications

this works well on my shoulder aching from a healing rotator cuff tear. The menthol provides a cool feeling that heightens the pain relief effect. High recommended. P.S I do not use the applicator, i squeeze cream from the tube and apply by hand. Seems easier

This cream goes anywhere you have pain and it really stops pain quickly.
