This is a great option to replace an older radiator valve. The instructions are easy to follow and it is easy to fit without any specific plumbing experience. The quality is good and the valve has been reliable to date.

I checked some reviews on this product before purchasing and found them to be as good as the previous reviews had been. I only needed 2 but bought 4 as my existing ones were 35 years old and had been affected by changes of heat over the years and the plastic fingers had broken. So now I have 2 spare which I am sure I will need at some point. These are a good replacement for the old type ones that are no longer available. They are also easy to fit.

Excellent thermostatic radiator valve.I used several of these valves to replace some ancient thermostatic valves (over 35 years old).The valves are extremely easy to fit - simply unscrew the screw which tightens the collar on the old valve and wiggle the old valve off the radiator. Tip: Whilst the old valve is off the radiator, use a pair of pliers to check the exposed needle moves freely by gentle pulling and pushing the needle. Also wipe clean the needle.Replace the old thermostatic valve with the new one and tighten the collar. The valve has number setting which relates to the temperature. Setting 1 is 13oC, setting 5 is 26oC. There is a frost setting indicated by *.Please note this valve (RA/VL) fits radiators with 26mm fittings and is push fit onto the radiator and secured using the supplied collar. Other sizes are available e.g. RA with fits onto 22mm fittings.

After so many years the plastic casing got very brittle and increasingly hard to refix on annual maintenance.As we were selling the house we felt we ought to replace them all - shoddy not to. All worked a treat and hope the new owners appreciated the gesture - but these does who knows. Top class piece of kit and thoroughly recommend if you have the right valves fitted. Lubricate plunger pin annually with WD40 and you will have no bother in my experience.

This worked well and was a direct replacement for a broken thermostat in my home. Ensure you order the correct size as there are many different ones out there.

Been looking for replacement valve heads for ages and none would fit at one point was going change the radiators as very old but will leave that for now . Fast delivery
