Not an exact fit but I was able to make it work by removing the intake plate and connecting rod.Saw is a pr4218

Perfect fit for my Poulan Pro 4218A. Was an easy swap.
Worked like a charm, fit perfectly on my Poulan Pro 4218A. Just had to trim the air filter a little to fit tight. Fires up in a few pulls every time now. Would most definitely buy this brand again if needed for any of my power equipment.

Quick delivery
Had not used this saw in 4 years. I replaced the gas line, primer bulb, return line, and spark plug. Pumped the primer until I had gas in the return line, fired on the 2nd pull and started on the third. A little fine adjustment and it runs like new

This Carb was a perfect kit
Hey what do I know? It was fun replacing the carb with one that worked with out much adjusting. I cannot give it less stars just because it didn't come the other set of gaskets you need....but everything worked just fine!

Fit and functioned flawlessly
No problem installing. The carb came with the jets pretty much where they needed to be. I tune a lot of carbs and it nice to find one pre-tuned. I've often heard that replacement carb are setup on some jig that allows the jets to be preset. Opinions on that score vary. I have to say I've received many carbs that were nowhere near set. Price was reasonable and the kit was very complete. I like to pull new lines even if they look good. Same with the primer bulb.

Sort Of fits & sort of functions, requires modifying saw to re-assemble
carburetor bolts & fuel lines line up, and the saw PP4218AVX runs; but I'm giving this carb a 1 star review due to it not being an exact replacement as listed. The top cover will have to be modified to clear the extended linkages that are different from the OEM Zama carburetor. Unfortunately where the top cover must be trimmed, does not seal between the carburetor box and cylinder so there is likely to be negative long term consequences.I've had good luck with a Huztl replacement carburetor for an Echo blower, just not on this carburetor for a Poulan chainsaw.

Chainsaw rebuild kit
Works as intended. The only complicated part is to install the fuel tubs. After that is easy. Look on line for the suggestions on how to install the tubes.
