I bought this on a whim, and I’m so glad I did. I have not broken a lead yet (the reason I gave up on mechanical pencils in general) and I doubt I will. It works great as a general marking pencil and the holder fit nicely in both my tool belt and pocket. I have especially found the narrow long barrel and ability to extend the lead out to be surprisingly useful for marking thru existing holes… I have immediately forgotten what I did before. Great product, I recommend.

Really good pencil.. it’s hard to ask for much more. I like that there’s a sharpener built into the cap/case. On the other hand I misplace the cap all the time and have to go looking for it. Obviously that’s my issue.

5 stars because this is not the companies fault. Everything is fine with the product. My complaint is with reviews. I don't know what welding people do but there is no metal in this world that I know of that this pencil will help make marks on! A review from a welder said it was great. I am an actual welder and let me say, NO! It's graphite lead. That don't mark on metal. You need silver. So if you can get me some silver leads the exact size for this pencil I'll be appreciative. Don't Wana return it. But I can't use it.

Use these for work and just got this pk w the deep hole marker. Prefer this brand over the popular pica bc the cases & pencil are less bulky and the sharpeners are on the top of the pen pocket clip so you don’t have to remove it from being clipped in your pocket just to sharpen like others which makes doing things one handed much much easier. These pencils make or break a task for me on a daily basis.. be it marking through holes to mount things on walls or drilling in tile or when framing etc. the ease of use is great. Only downfall I’d mention is not pull on the clip too much or it’ll break which makes it useless to me. I need these to clip into my pants pockets for work so I can grab them 1 handed.

Works like a pencil, especially for holes no more than about 2 inches deep. The barrel and pocket clip are plastic. We'll see how well they stand up with construction use.
