Really worked!
I have a shared yard out the back with york flag stones from 1820. My neighbour decided to pour chip fat onto them to avoid blocking the drains, which looked awful! I ordered this after reading the reviews. It arrived quickly but I was suprised how small the tin was and knew I would not have enough. I tried it anyway on the stone on 'my side'. It dried to a white powder. Very smelly in the process like paint thinners but as I was working outside this did not bother me. After a few hours I brushed it off with a scrubbing brush. It left some white residue but I washed this off with a hose really easily. Once dried I could see it worked - it had removed the oil stains from the stone. Neighbouring stone was still stained so a good comparision. I would have loved to have used this on the hole area, but would need quite a few tins so nature will just have to fade the rest. Turps, patio cleaner and metholated spirits failed to do what this product did achieve - so its brilliant. Best for a small area. Highly recommend.

It works, not perfect 1st time but removed soaked in oil.
Having a small oil leak from the car I ended up with oil on the driveway over a long period of time, so thoroughly soaked in to the un-sealed concrete. I first tried Gunk driveway oil cleaner. All that did was clean off around the oil leaving the oil untouched (See picture) so I Checked out the reviews for this item. Had to wait for a few days for some dry weather but give it a go. .The product is the consistency of gunge and it doesn’t look very appealing, but hey it’s to clean oil so who cares.Stirred it up and applied as per instructions. Petty simple to do. Left it for they time they suggested and it turned white as they say. It was quite a hard substance so you need more than just a brush (probably a wire brush) but I washed it off with water and a brush. The results are pretty good in my opinion. Not perfect but a whole lot better than using gunk which didn’t do anything to the stain. I think a wire brush may do a better job of removing the crust intact so may do better at keeping the stain out.I recon a second go will pull out more and I have a little left so may well give it a go at the next sunny weekend and follow up with a jet wash. Conclusion: it works, be prepared to Give it more than one attempt, but worth the cost.

Did nothing!
Did nothing! I have an oil stain on a white marble sink. This did nothing. Instead, I made a paste with baking powder and water and left that on the stain for 36 hours to dry, before scraping it off. It removed the stain beautifully.

This stuff works!
So relieved with this product! My flagstones are over 200 years old. We've been renovating and had to store some tools in our sitting room. We put down a tarp and still had a chainsaw leak and go through it. I think the oil probably went unnoticed for months while we waited on a tool shed to get everything out. I first treated the spill with Grimex. It dulled it but was still very noticeable as you can see from the photo. Bought this stuff not expecting much and couldn't believe how well it worked. Laid it on thick and about 4-5 hours it had harded and I could just pick up and throw away. Can't recommend this product enough. The seller even included some discount codes for various companies that we'll definitely use. Thanks very much.

Not a lot of it and doesn't work great on old stains.
Bought this for some old oil/fuel stains on our driveway. There is only 250ml of it and it doesn't go far of you apply it according to the instructions. It clearly states that it doesn't do well on old stains, which ours were so we weren't expecting miracles. It did OK, reduced them somewhat but still very visible, we are now going down the acid route instead. Can't vouch for how this does on fresh stains, perhaps it works wonders?

Removed the oily/fatty mark on my Indian Sandstone Patio!
I rarely write reviews but as this product solved my problem, I felt that I wanted to share my experience. A couple of months ago we got a new Indian Sandstone patio and we had people over for the first barbecue. Something oily/fatty got spilt by the side of the table which left a fairly large oily mark (around 10cm x 7cm) which initially looked like someone had split water but obviously never dried. I tried washing it multiple times with washing up liquid etc. I also left it for a few weeks hoping that a bit of rain might help. This made it look slightly better but it was still very much there and very noticeable. Having seen a review from another customer who posted pictures (thank you 😊) I bought HG Natural Stone Oil & Grease Stain Absorber. I followed the instructions on the tin and left it for around 4/5 hours. It is a strange consistency but dries hard and it literally just lifts off when dry. I wiped the remaining residue off with a damp cloth. The stain has gone! If you know where it was and look REALLY hard you can make out a slight outline of where it used to be but you would never notice now at all.As other reviewers have noted the tin is quite small. I used about half the tin and so if you have a larger stain or multiple stains you will need to buy several cans. Stating the obvious, but it is probably worth seeing if it works for you before buying multiple items. It worked for me...Good luck!

Worked well on Indian Stone driveway.
I had a few small petrol and oil stains on my Indian Stone driveway which I had chosen not to seal to keep its natural appearance.I tried all sorts of different patio and driveway cleaners without success, including oxalic acid crystals but the stains remained. After reading all the reviews I bought this product. It is a grease like paste that you smear over the affected area and leave for a minimum of 4 hours. In that time it shrinks and dries leaving a white paper thin crust.Low and behold it worked and the stains are now gone.Really pleased with it.I washed the stain areas with a cloth and water after. In one area there is a very slight shadow left and the instructions say apply another coat but it is hardly noticeable so I won’t bother.I bought a small tin which was more than sufficient for what I needed but if you have numerous stains or a large area to cover then go for a bigger size although I know it is quite expensive.
