Purchased this pinpointer with a Dr Otek MT-XR metal detector for my wife for Mother's Day and took it our for the first time today. Great product, works awesome and make find the item a breeze. Solid construction, simple to use with sound, vibration, or both. Lightweight and comes with a belt holdter and a cord so you don't leave it behind! Like it so much I just purchased another for myself with another MT-XR metal detector.

First of all, the pinpointer is green, so that alone should be enough (green is my favorite color). The metal detector gets me in the general area and this reasonable priced pinpointer allows me to hone in on the prize. It has a good depth penetration, easy to use, visible LED screen for how close the object is, etc. I would buy it again. It uses an 8 volt battery that last a fair amount of time.

The performance is better than most honestly. I could range 3 inches with some materials depending on the settings.

This is a very nice pinpointer at a great price. Works as well or better than my garrett. The

Works great so far. I enjoy the simple two button design while still providing several feedback modes and the ability to turn off the led. Time will tell how long it lasts but so far so good.

I won't go metal detecting without this again. I don't know how it compares with others, but it works great for me. It saves time looking for the small things and makes searching much more enjoyable.

Bought this to find long since overgrown brass sprinkler heads on an old house. Worked well, and also found all sorts of bolts/nuts/screws buried a few inches under the surface too. Saved me hours of poking around.
