Dark Knight Trilogy Collection (UHD/BD) (4K Ultra HD) [4K UHD]

The media could not be loaded. I have watched the Dark Knight Trilogy so many times on various streaming platforms. Make no mistake this is a perfect trilogy but watching while streaming just doesn’t make your 7.2.4 system come alive like this 4k UHD Disc does!For example, the attached video clip of the Dark Knight’s “helicopter crash” scene has no subwoofer action while streaming, “that’s not good” is correct! When you watch this trilogy on a 4k disc all of your speakers and especially you Subwoofers come alive and the audio quality is Sublime! I think this 4k UHD Trilogy set is the perfect reading why you should switch to a 4k UHD disc player and stop streaming movies!

3 of my absolute favorite films of all time and in 4k HDR, the picture and sound was fantastic. I was able to enjoy these movies all over again and share it with my kids for the first time. Definitely worth it.

Is it too early to call these classics? I don’t think so, crazy enough, it’s been over a decade since “the dark knight rises”! And nearly 20 years now since “Batman Begins” so they are definitely classics! We are just old now. lol!Great box set, looks fantastic on the big screen even if it’s not in 4k. Cool packaging and tons of extra features both on the movie disks themselves and the bonus features disks! Wasn’t expecting the little photo sized prints in the pack but that was a cool little touch.This set is worth every penny, if you enjoyed the movies or are just a Batman fan, you should absolutely buy these films!Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman? Those are just the recurring characters in these great movies. Perfect casting imo.

The films need no review as to this box set it is a must have for any fan of the Dark Knight Trilogy and or fans of Nolan's films in general.The package itself is nice even for display, the book style holder for the disc's is very nice, the special art book included is a good bonus for dk fans lastly it includes 3 hot wheels style vehicles packaged in the bottom of the box.I've had the films for a long time and just decided to upgrade to this set and glad I did definitely don't hesitate if your considering this.As to the transaction and service it left a lot to be desired, I purchased straight from Amazon and the first item arrived damaged fine it happens the second one arrived also damaged, when I attempted to set up another exchange it wouldn't allow me through the site so I spoke with a representative who completely disregarded everything I had said and kept offering me a refund and once they finally got I wanted an exchange just kept telling me to send back the second damaged one they sent without them starting a replacement, in the end a replacement was started and I have sent the two damaged ones back and fortunately the third time the item arrived intact but since the start of this year I have had a long string of damaged items arriving, going to neighbor's houses or not arriving at all which is unfortunate as I have had great service over the previous years

Absolutely incredible movies, Packaged very well and discs all in perfect condition.

I won't get into the details of the movies themselves as everyone who is reading this most likely loves the movies enough to consider a trilogy box set. So I'll save you plot points etc. I will only said that this is a great trilogy. The first two Tim Burton movies set the bar pretty high (of course the third and fourth in that series lowered the bar so much you would assume they were starting a limbo contest). But Nolan picks up on the edgier Burton films (edgier than previous tv/movie incarnations) and took off with it. The end result is a more or less fulfilling trilogy with great special effects grounded in a very real environment. Gotham can be any major metropolitan city with a gritty, dark underside.Now onto the box set, it's pretty well made the vehicles included are great (but it sucks that you can't take them out and replace them in the packaging...even though we are adults it's still fun to play a little, or at least look at our toys). The frame able prints are interesting as they are somewhat conceptual, and would look nice on your wall (I used my scanner to make a copy so I can post one on my wall and keep the original safe). The included art book is nice and has a really good look and feel to it. It's glossy but it has parts that do not seem glossy which gives it a unique look. It reminds me of comic books where you get covers that have parts that stand out, and others that are almost faded into the background which draws your eyes in more. It's hard to explain, but, as I was saying it has a nice look and feel to it. Too bad it's not a hardcover book.The "book" that holds the cd is nice as well. Each movie is showcased on their own set of pages. Batman Begins only has one blu ray disc the other two have two. and there is a bonus disc as well (that is separate than the bonus discs that came out with the individual movies). the cd holder part of the page is designed in such a way as the art on the cd completes the art on the page. Almost like a puzzle piece. it's a great idea, except one of the movies the cds are black to fit the image so it's not as impressive as the one where you have part of the batpod wheel printed on the disc to complete the picture. It's a small thing but it makes it more fun and interesting. This is a hardcover book, and the art in it is phenomenal as well.The movies look and sound great, and the bonus disc, while not overwhelming has a few things that are worth taking a look at. Notably is seeing Chris Nolan and Richard Donner discuss their iconic superhero movies, as Superman was a definite inspiration to Nolan (his words). Overall this is a great and exciting set and a great way to get all three movies in one place. if you're a huge fan of batman like I am then this is something you shouldn't pass up. I showed it to my brother (who lives in the same house) and when he saw it he got himself a copy as well. So that should tell you something. While this is a great set, It's probably too much for the casual fan, but at the same time it may draw you deeper into the batman mystique. It's a definite must have for any movie/superhero movie collector.

Decent set. I just feel like the quality isn't quite 4k. I have other 4k movies that look so clips that its easy to tell they're 4k. Not so much with this set. Still good, still watchable.

for the best films in the Batman cannon. Great picture & sound quality too.
